Just got a call from a woman named Shane, who said she was from "Bonus Rewards" and that we had been selected to receive a $200 gas card and a $200 retail gift card from them for having bought gas at either Shell, Exxon, Mobile of Chevron with a credit card in the last 7 days.  I was suspicious so I asked her a few questions about the company and how they gor my number, none of which she could answer directly, meaning without sounding like she was reading it off a script.  She said that I would have to pay for the shipping which was $6.95!  I asked if I could mail them a money order or do OCD to pay for the shipping and she said that at this time they don't except those forms of payment, but that if I gave her my CC # and that if there were any charges that I am not happy with from their company that I would just have to call and cancel.  I told her I would call her back later.  Not likely.  However compared to other phone scams that have called me before this one was at least polite, just don't give them your CC #!!!  BTW the number that came up on my caller ID when she called was 240-560-2029, which is a landline in Silver Spring MD.
