- JessicaI've gotten called by this number several times but had been unavailable whenever they call me so i either hang up or don't answer, but they keep calling me, but I am always unavailable to answer and tell them to take me off the list, I'm sure it's some scam.
- sherrywhen i answered they stated they were calling about a financial grant offered by the federal government. I stated I didn't know anything about a grant and never applied for one, they hung up on me!
- angelaasked for (me) my name and i told them they had the wrong number and they hung up on me when i called back an india man got smart and hung up on me
- MarkSecond time they called me. I called em back just o mess with em and asked if John Teabagger was there first and she said he wasnt in at this time, then i asked if Richard Smoker was available and she said there was no one by that name LOL, then I told her that i was calling back and then she went into this spiel about how i could get a free grant. I then asked what country she was from and she said that she was from califronia, I then asked her again WHAT COUNTRY ARE YOU FROM, and she insisted it was usa and i said I highly doubt that, and then got hung up on LOL.
- Caller: didnt get that info
- AThey called telling me that they were from the government and that I was approved for a grant, which I didn't apply for.
- sdfsdfsdfsdfJust got a call from this number, and finally answered it out of curiosity. A "Simon Rodriguez" or "Hernandez" (or whatever) rambled on about grants, and how I could have access to their "grant writing experts" on their website for 10 days if I would pay the 4.99. I told him that was impossible as there had a been a fraudulent transaction on my credit card, and it had been canceled. After wasting my time for around 15 minutes, he lasted another 30 seconds after he learned this information about my credit card. I am, however, pretty confident that I annoyed the hell out of him, which is always my objective with these calls, since they are a violation of federal law at this point.
- Caller: ?????
- Sarahi got a call and they said i was able to get a grant for the amount i wanted to i didnt have to pay it back, i went along with it until they asked for my credit card information then i said i did have on and i was not authorizing anyone to take money and they hung up
- AnnoyedThis # called twice asking for Christina. No ChristinA lives here!! Morons!
- RobinCalled my cell phone and asked for me by my first name. Said his name was Marvin and had a heavy accent. Said I qualified for a grant and how would I like to spend it. I hung up on him.
- PamObviously a scam. I asked why they wanted my husband and they said to follow up on his interest in "free grant money." Although anyone would be interested in "free" money, there had been no inquiry on our part. Perhaps I should have pursued how one gets "free" money just to keep them from calling, for a few minutes, some other receiver.
- Caller: Unnamed
- N GThey don't say anything when they call because they are trying to assess when you will be home so that they may catch you at a "good time" and try their sales pitch then. Stupid, I know, but that's how they work.
- SueI have been getting calls every day at the same time. I have not answered them, but it is annoying. Do not answer the call if you do not know who it is!
- JM| 2 repliessomeone name "Paul Walker" with accent called to verify my address in order to send $25.00 Walmart gift card, and $25.00 dining gift card to me through UPS. He claimed that I purchased with my AE card with ending number 0008 (which I cancelled almost one year ago after my purse got stolen) so I got these gift cards as appreciation. He said his company is called "US reward cards" and his number is 1-888-246-2495. Very suspicious!!!!
- Caller: "US reward card"
- ddon replies to JMGot a call from Lee Diaz at this same number, only MY prize was $200 store card and $25 restaurant, plus info on a "complimentary" cruise, sent for only $4.95 postage and handling. I declined.
- Anthony replies to JMI received a call from the same phone # 1-888-246-2495 from a guy named Jeff about 20 minutes ago. The company name "Bonus Rewards" had pretty much the same offers. A $200.00 gift reward to shop at Wal MArt, Target, Best Buy, etc. With some type of package they would send in the mail for a charge of $4.95 on my credit or debit card. At first I thought it was the rewards dept. for one of the stores that I shop at. Then I realized it wasn't so I asked him a series of questions about his company and this offer and ended up talking with a supervisor. Well, after talking with the supervisor I was convinced it was legit so I gave them my card number and they said I would receive my package in the mail, etc., etc. After I hung up the phone, I went to my online banking and noticed 3 pending transactions on my account today, that I had no knowledge of even approving. The phone numbers were different, two transactions from the same # 1-888-246-2413 were for $3.95 and $4.95, the third transaction from the phone # 1-877-871-7899 was for $4.95. Now how could this be when the person I gave my card info to was calling from 1-888-246-2495? I suspected I had been scammed so I cancelled my debit card with my bank and ordered a new one. I then called the 246-2495 back and asked them why did I have 3 different transactions on my bank statement within 10 minutes of me giving my card info, from two different phone #'s. The supervisor told me, and I quote, "Well sir, there was a glitch in the system and we'll take care of that by cancelling the transactions". I cancelled my debit card before I called them back. Well, I demanded their business and web address. The web site is autotravelmdbonus.com, and the address is

Definitely a telemarketing scam. Seems to me the person that got my info may have shared it with his friends working next to each other so they could all get a sale for today. - Izzy Hamasaki| 1 replyObviously a female called me with the name Shane from ultimate rewards stating I will receive a gift card for $200 for shopping at walmart, target, (pretty much any store someone would shop at weekly) but Im a college student and don't shop soooo. LIES
- Teresajust recieved a call to my business phone, she said her name was Monica Cruz. That it was in reguard to a purchase at Walmart or one of their discount stores but could not tell me how they got any information on me. wanted me to give my credit or debit card info, said I would recieve a $200 gift card for Walmart and $25 restraunt gift card and onfo on a cruise. I told them I would not give them such information if she could not tell me how she got my name and how I have been registered for this, she just kept telling me that she was only told to call me with this info and get shipping payment so she could send my gift cards that she would not risk her job for $4.95. Who is to say it would stop with $4.95. I told her I did not want it that I was not interested.
- Caller: Bonus Rewards
- ZipI received a call from 888-246-9106 saying I had won a gas card from BP/Shell. All they needed was my credit card number, $4.95 for shipping and the card would be sent. I did it and later told my spouse, who immediately smelled a rat. We called the number and were put on hold. We checked our bank account and $4.95 had been sent as pre-authorization. There was this number 888-246-5659 in the memo. Called and got the exact same message & hold music. Canceling before anything else can be taken. CANCEL YOUR CARDS IMMEDIATELY! HAVE NO DOUBTS THIS IS A SCAM!
