Someone from 1-888-246-5659 called me - they said they were calling me regarding a government grant I had requested info on.  When I asked them what government grant and who was this - they hung up on me.

first time the guy called he told me i qualify for gov. grant money, i asked him how they got my information, he said the form i filled out online. i asked the name of the form and he hung up on me. they keep calling me and hanging up so i called back and the lady gave me a website www.federalgrantsacademy.com

They called me and said that I filled out a form. I said I didn't. She hung up.

Someone called me with a phone number ID of 1-888-246-5659, about Monday 10-05-2009, with an accent that sounded somewhat Indian, telling me that I IN FACT DID sign-up for some sort of Federal Grant funding BS.
It wasn't true, and I said "not interested," and hung up.
Anyone else?

They called and said that I was eligible for grant money.  I explained that my number was on the no call list and they asked to talk to my wife.  I said I was on the no call list again and asked them to not call back.  This is the 3rd night in a row they have called.

Frequent calls...no one no messages left

they just called me.  asking for about $3.00 and isnt that affordable? Yeah right!  I told her to send me an email and i would look into it.  she said they cant til i pay the three bucks.  told her i dont remember contacting you and i certainly dont feel comfortable giving you my card # and then I hung up. and all this on my cell phone!  sheesh

I dialed this number from a landline as it had called by cell phone,  a woman answered and when I asked her why they were calling me she stated that they were a company giving away federal government grants.  Well I told her so stop calling me and she said ok

~ They have been calling~ When I answered yesterday~ I get a recording back that just says GOOD BYE~~ Today...I answered and the lady asked for me...with a thick accent...and I just HUNG UP! I figure I will be just as ANOYING as they are and MAYBE they will QUIT calling~ I too, am on the DO NOT CALL LIST ~ a lot of good it does! Let's JUST anoy them back!!! :>

some asian lady called me knowing i was a collage student and said i qualified for a grant of 10,000 but i needed to give them a credit card to "activated my account", i said i'd call tommorow to see at school what the deal was and she was tryng to convince me to do it right then.

they call me for federal grant academy they say i request a grant. i never iplly for aniting.
when i ask for how they contact me if i never iplly for anitthing  they hang up.
its a fraud for sure dont give any to this people.

I called them back after they called my grandfather asking him for his credit card number. "I'd like to inform you that I'll be calling the police on you. Thank-you." I doubt they'll call again.

THEY DONT STOP CALLING ME. They say are for Gov grants and I went to their website. I asked them what website they gave me one and when I said let me take a look (they hung up) dont waste your time answering!

they kept calling my phone too. and they were looking for some one else. i kept telling them over an over again to get rid of my number and one guy said WATEVER in a sarcastic way!

got  a  call  today  from  them  they  say  they are  from  some  sort  of  government  grant  academy  , and  wanted  me  to pay  $3.95  for  access to  there  site  , i  gave  them  all  fake  info   and  i  got  there  address  ,10625 north  military  trl  ,west  palm  beach  , fl    33410  , dont  know  if  its  there  real  addrss  or  not  but  im going  to  check it out  on  monday ,  they  allso  gave  me  this  phone  number  , for  there support  line which  is  -888-811-1915   i  am  also  going  to check  that  number  monday  when  they  are  open .

offered me a loan for bills and etc.

They called me on my husbands phone and asked for me and then I called the number back and asked what they were calling about. The lady on the phone told me they were calling about a government grant that I had applied for. When I asked witch grant it was about she started stuttering. I said was it about a house grant or a furnace grant and the replie that I got was uhuh, I asked if that was a yes or a no the reply was huh. I decided that it had to be a scam call. I told them I was reporting them to the police and the bbb and she said so I just a residents not a business. The lady sound foreign (oriental), then when I said police agian the acsent was all but gone.

They keep calling sayign I filled out the information to receive federal grant money and that they wanted to confirm my authorization to charge my debit card. When I tell them I don't want it and to take me off the list, they start to get rude and yell saying I had already signed up for the service and I just need to comfirm. When I keep repeating I don't want anythigng charged, they hang up on me. I call back and they know who I am and they tell me they know whwat I want. I have no idea how they got my information, and I would love for them to stop calling. Anyone know who they are?
