- GE| 1 replyI keep getting phone calls -- a recorded message from a Miss Bowers from Zenith Financial Network regarding a financial matter. It's annoying!!! STOP CALLING!!! Caller ID that shows up is: 415-480-3606.
My next step to report both numbers on the DO NOT CALL Registry if I continue to receive phone calls.- Caller: Zenith Financial Network
- scorpio| 1 replyCallled my cell and my work #. No name or name of company. Stated I was being investigated for check fraud an I needed legal representation. Glad I looked them up. Your comments have been helpful. Who would leave a message on a work phone accusing someone of check fraud?
- kathy AI got a call from this number today. They wouldnt tell me who they were , or where they were calling from. They had old information about a loan I had in 2008. That was paid in 2011, They were very rude, when i ask to send me a letter confirming theyre legitinacy they said theyd email me. RED FLAG!!! SCAMMERS! They said I owed 316.00 and the last call I got on this account I, supposedly only owed 151.00. They need to be caught. They threatened me while Iwas on the job at work. Im very upset!!!!!

- Peter LReceived a call from a local 847 phone number telling me to call this number regarding an important financial matter. Decided to try the original number and I was redirected to the same Zenith Financial Network. After listening to the opening message (which said would be recorded) I waited for someone to answer. In my boredom, and since I had already read this thread, I decided to start hitting random numbers like crazy. Eventually someone picked up and said (I swear to you I'm not kidding) "Hey, what's up baby?!" I started laughing and asked "who is this?" and they hung up immediately. I'm planning on calling them a bunch more times for funsies. Might as well mess with the scammers.

- vI'm really pissed now. I just gave them $200 but I did it on a prepaid card. Still haven't got the email either. They do work on your fear. Won't get another 200

- aham93DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE BULLY YOU!! They are a pain and feel they need not operate under any guidelines. They love to tell friends and family members that you are being investigated for "check fraud". According to the Fair Debt Collection Practices they should tell ANYONE ANYTHING!!!. I have no outstanding debt and asked for proof of debt, he said I would be in jail by the time the letter got to me. If they call...simply tell them you'd like to cooperate and that the rest of the conversation is being recorded.....it shuts them up EVRY TIME!

- BradleyCalled this number back only to get a rude man on the other end. Told me I owed a bill that was already paid off. I threatened to contact a attorney because of the scam they are running and they quickly told me the debt was paid and nobody would ever contact me again. Be firm and aggressive with these blood suckers. They try and intimidate you with lawsuits and court rooms but do not give in. Tell them you will have your attorney contact them. Hope this helps!

- AlI've received several calls from different numbers with area code (956). The lady on the message says to call back at 888-256-2579. When I called, the man that answered wanted my name. I said that if they were the ones calling me, they should know my name. He then asked if I was wanted? If I was on the run? I questioned him and then he said only people on the run are afraid to give names. I was like no you should already have my info. He was rude and said that's why he takes care of his business on time. so I hung up on him after I cussed at him.

- kathy| 2 repliesI just received a call from this person named Chief Chris Baker he said he was with Zenith Financial and he was contacting me as a courtesy call before they had the police pick me up and take me to jail. And the judge could sentence me to 12 to 24 months in jail. I had no idea why he was calling or the matter he was talking about stating I owed 1650.00 and with fees it is now 2700.00. I asked what are you talking about he stated that I owed a outstanding loan from 2009 in which I never knew anything about. He said that he had my daughters name and brothers name and if I did not pay this TODAY that they were going to issue warrants for my arrest. For bad checks, which I said I never wrote a check to this because I know nothing about it. I asked if he could mail me information regarding this and he said that over 20 pieces of mail had already been sent. I have not received one piece of information........ he then said I could call him back today and perhaps they could settle for two payments. He provided me a phone number of 203-916-0731. How can they just threaten people like this.

- Raia Monteiro replies to kathyI just received a call from this same "Chief Baker", he was rude as hell! He told me I owed Cash Jar a total of $4600 on an original loan of only $1000 that I paid off. He said he could settle it for $1800, but when I stated that I was in no uncertain terms going to pay it he started with all of the threats (I would go to jail with a bond of $15,000). Right then and there I knew that this was a bunch of BS. So I spent all day today gathering bank statements to show that I paid it off YEARS AGO. Can't wait to call them tomorrow to lower the boom on their behinds. I'll update my post with their response.
- Cathy| 1 replyI also have been getting call after call from Investigator Moore about a fraud case. "Investigator Moore" refuses the name of the company or to send a disclosure statment - he says that is simply a courtesy and they do not have to extend it if they dont want to. Mr. Moore went on to tell me he is having my drivers license revoked and that I will never be able to obtain it again and I am looking at jail time.
Never would he tell me who he is collecting for or what amount is owed. He began yelling at me refused over and over the name and address of his company until finally he said Zenith. I asked him if he was a member of the law he said he is an Investigator - I said so you are a member of the law and he said yes.
I am contacting the Attorney General Office and would suggest people do the same thing. Good job on recording them to the gentlemen above.- Caller: Zenith Financial
- Telecom TrackerALL, If you want to get rid of these types of calls, keep them on the phone as long as possible. Make the call cost them. They have to pay hourly to make these calls, the agent, his floor manager, and the techs that keep their projects/dialers running all cost big bucks.
NEVER confirm you are the one they need to talk to. NEVER give them your SSN, Address, or phone number. If they are calling about a bad debt, chances are they only have a phone number an nothing else. Don't allow them to associate your contact information with someone elses debt.
The longer you keep them on the call with nonsense talk it will cost them $$'s. Make them hang up on you after wasting a significant amount of their time, not to mention yours. They make these calls because it's cheap. The more it costs them, the less they will make overall and thus the less profitable it is to make calls like this - Spoonwhite| 1 replyI have been getting calls from 239-244-8649 ext 120 and they are saying they are Zenith Financial. Chief Investigator Ms Jaseline Williams from the litigation department. This winch says the are working on filing and affidavit of charges for a debt of Check Fraud against their client. If I dont call back by 4pm they will file charges of Death by deception, Depository Check Fraud AND wait for it...........Internet Fraud....WTH!!! I have been getting calls since January from a variety of people. One man actually already had ALL my information...It scared me really badly. But he was even angrier after I told him I havent written a check in over 15 years....

- MinnieThis company contacted me 3 days ago telling me that I owed $1400 on a loan that I got in 2008. they were threatening to write a warrant for my arrest, me being on parole already I freaked out bc I'm trying to better myself I made arrangements for payment and paid $350 that day. After paying this I thought about the situation. Last year I thought that I had paid this "loan" off I had paid $600 to a "company" named Providence debt collector. I honestly believe that this is a SCAM!!!!! I have already contacted the FBI's IC3 and filed a complaint, and have also contacted the FTC and made a complaint. Tomorrow morning i am going to the local DA's office to see what I can do about this situation. Also going to the bank and am going to try and recover the money that was sent 2 days ago..... UGH!!!!
