I received a call today too. A Mr. Chris Baker (I am a receptionist at a company that receives all coming calls) anyway, He asked for an employee her and I asked who was calling and he went off!!!!!! That she was going to jail today and that our company is going to have to pay a fine if we don't get her on the line, ect...It was pretty bad. I feel so sad for someone who has a job like that and has to be mean to people to make a living, who would want to work for a collections company like that? Its not even collections, its a total scam and I feel really bad for the people that have paid money. I will be reporting them as well. I also will mention a Jill Mills who called the 3rd time..I could hear Mr. Baker in the background. wow....I wonder how much these people make and where they get there informaion from? Its pretty sad. I would hate to have to go to a job everyday and call people just to threaten and scream at them for the sake of trying to get money out of them. So sad! OH WELL,,,,,I am reporting them now! Goodluck!

It is not a legitimate company idiot!!!! XXX=Who are you? I reported the company to everyone I possibly could imagine but the BBB said they never heard of them? They looked them up under all names you provided as well as all the info you provided. You are probably one of the losers that work for them. I feel for you. Please go get yourself another job. I wouldn't want a job scammer good people and pretending your Mr. Baker/Lawyer/Chief/or any of the other titles you claim to be. You're an idiot who is uneducated so this is where you're stuck working. Don't worry it will all come crashing down after they do there investigation on your company. I would also like to file a lawsuit and am petitioning signatures and handing it over to legislation. I will do everything in my power to stop your so called company and make sure you don't take monies from anyone else or threaten anyone else. You are going down Mr. Baker! All my calls were recorded, so I hope I get another one to add to the list. Give me a call!!!! And the douche that wrote this needs to either get a better education so you can get a better job actually a legit job and move on with your life because you all are going down.

I have received numerous calls from Zenith regarding a debt.  Apparently they will be at my home to serve me tomorrow (today) with papers between the hours of 10am-4pm.  If they can't reach me at home they will be by my place of employment (which I just got let go of from today...so no longer my place of employment).  Seeing that I will be at home all day looking for a job, we'll see if they show up.  Will gladly keep everyone posted.

I don't know where you get your information, b ut I was contacted by these people today and my State's Attorney General's office told me they are a scam and not to give them any contact information. The second someone threatens with a warrant or to send you to jail that is an indication. The law states...

    Debt collectors may not:

Use profanity or threaten you with violence.
Tell you that you will be arrested if you don’t pay.
Pretend to be attorneys or government representatives.
Tell your employer or others about your debts.
Pretend that they are contacting you for other reasons.
Contact you before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. unless you agree.
    Garnish your wages.

They call on 561-807-8599 & spoofed local #'s like 281-231-0004

This is a SCAM: a so called "collection agency" that tries to collect "ghost debts" by calling people's friends and relatives to harass them into giving up information on where the person allegedly owing a debt can be found. They operate in a covert, underhanded manner, calling constantly and acting in a mocking way, as though they believe they are untouchable. Quite harassing!

    Here's their actual contact information:

add Chris Baker to the contact list....oops, sorry...CHIEF INVESTIGATOR Chris Baker. Called my 12 year old's cell last night, claiming there was an issue that needed to be fixed in regard to an unpaid check. Then they called this morning and left a rather rude message about a felony charge. What's funny is that I haven't written a check in over ten years as I pay everything with my debit card. The number he used today was a New York number: (917) 831-4434. When I tried calling them back, before I found the info here, I was directed to a voicemail for "August August," and that is not a typo. My wife wondered if I owed money to a stripper! lol. I am now on a mission. No one calls my 12 year old's phone and leaves threatening messages. I say we start a group on a group site so we can all gather info and hunt these fools down so they can be properly prosecuted for fraud and harassment.

I had several calls from ZFN & Assoc claiming they had court documents that needed to be served on me. They called me from 817-310-8917. When i contacted them, i realized it was collection agency and not law firm. They are rude and ignorant!!!

This telephone number was left for me at my mother's house, father in law's house etc.  The person calling identifies themself as Melissa and gives a file number.  When I called back the first time, the voice mail greeting said it was ____& Associates, I could not make out the first part of the name.  The second call back led to someone identifying themselves as Capital one...fraudulent...all the way.

I have gotten calls from this number twice and for me to look for a Melissa. I'm having my lawyer call them and find out who they really are. Yes I have a lot of debts to pay but I have been advised that I should not be giving out any personal information over the phone and that they should send me mail or email me. As of now I am just waiting to hear about this number. I was out when they called and only messages were left.

I received a call from Melissa telling me to call her at the 888-266-2579 number but on my caller ID the number that showed up was 561-807-8599.  She left a voicemail that I have an outstanding debt and collection action may be taken against me.  There are just too many scams going around and scam artist trying to scare everyone.  Its sad that there is nothing anyone can do to actually stop these calls.
