- Andrew replies to tim| 8 repliesI am an Attorney specializing in Consumer Bankruptcy and Protection. If you receive a phone call from Zenith Financial, simply hang up. This is a scam. You cannot be arrested because you owe someone money and a private company does not have the power to issue a warrant for your arrest. You can file complaints with any and every agency you want, but these guys are running a scam and likely not even in the U.S.A. You could file an FDCPA claim, but even if you are victorious, you won't be able to execute your judgment against the company because they aren't real. Just save yourself the time and headache and hangup. Do not let this fake debt collector or any real debt collectors scare you.
- Loadycalled and left message about a law suit..I tried to call back..always on hold..just recordings...

- TIRED OF CHIEF BAKERHe called advertising to me that he was a litigation attorney type of collector for a payday loan co he never told me was....
with threats relating to jail time ect for a payday loan sometime in 2010. hadn't a clue what he was referencing as his information was very limited. stupid me I gave card info as he was to take a partial payment which he & I scheduled for the following day. thought long & hard about it as I'm not in any position to hand out any sort of money for something I'm not sure even relates to me. I immediately cleared my account, researched as much info I could to see if jail, warrant and of that criminal activity could haunt me should I not pay this mystery man. received the legal advice I needed and haven't answered my phone since. he has continuously left threatening messages on my phone which I saved should this need to go any further addressing the fact that I better get my bail bond money together along with commisary I will need while sitting in jail. very rude to say the least, this shouldn't make him a chief in any sort of way!!- Caller: 2039160731

- spick replies to Jonathan| 3 repliesI got a call today from a Jason Powers saying he was from Zenith Networks and I that I owed money that I already paid. They said that there was a lawsuit against me and that i need to pay them by next friday or they were going to pursue leagal action against me. I have never heard of these people and I have never gotten anything in the mail from them. I think they are a scam.
- spick replies to Andrew| 2 repliesI have a question for you since you are an attorney..... the person who called me said that there was a lawsuit our on me and that i have 1 week to pay off the debt or come up with a partil payment or they will pursue leagl action...... i call their office back and their recording mentions letter of judgement court orders..... can they do any of these?
- xxx replies to AndrewBefore advising that Zenith Financial is a scam maybe you should do some leg work and you will find it is not a scam. It is a legitimate collection agency licensed and bonded in the state of Florida. To tell people to hang up is just bordering unethical !!! Do your homework first then make recommendations. I agree some debt collectors out there are strong armed, but to make a stupid statement as you did, I certainly would doubt your ability as a Collection Attorney and highly doubt you specialize in anything. Be cautious calling debt collectors fake for not all are. And many clients do give authorization to proceed against claims, and are known to do so. So your advice is NOT GOOD!!!
- xxx replies to Andrew| 3 repliesWOW- again another borderline unethical statement. If you are a real Attorney you need to do more research before giving this advice. Zenith Financial is not a scam- What proof do you have to support this allegation??? Please provide this, for I am certain you have nothing!! I did research Zenith as a paralegal asked to do a friend a favor and all comes up legit on them. Registered with SunBiz in State of Florida. Registered with Better Business Bureau, Collection agencies tend to become targets for uneducated Attorney's like yourself. Of course you cannot be arrested for a debt ( debtors prison has been gone for 30+ years). You advise Zenith running a scam- DO YOUR HOMEWORK! I hate to see wrong and terrible advice given to these consumers. You advise that more than likely not in USA?? WOW do some leg work before posting. Anyone looking at this Attorney's response just check into the things I outlined and you will see this company is legitimate, located in Florida. As I do not agree with strong arm collections or any sort of FDCPA violations not all collectors do this. Research before giving stupid advise.
- xxx replies to spick| 1 replySEE here's my point on this Attorney, you asked a question and shocking no response!! Claims to know all the rules and regulations and knows nothing! I have researched this company for a friend of mine and found they ARE LEGIT they have a C- rating with the BBB which actually for a collection agency is not bad. Although I do not agree with strong arm collection tactics and never will. But to have this Attorney writing on here to hang up on them if they call is crazy!! To answer your question since this sharp Attorney did not I will....If the agency is working for a client, they CAN recommend legal action be taken against you. But this would need to go through the court system and a judgement obtained then depending on your state and laws of attachment is how the next step is determined. People have such a bad taste for collection agencies, but some are on the up and up and DO HAVE the ability to recommend further action be taken. My advice to you is if you actually owe a debt, work with them for the end goal is to get rid of the debt not hide from it.
- Jason Powers x308 replies to spick| 2 repliesJohnathan, first off your racial slur in your title is completely uncalled for. Now as for threatening a lawsuit, I do not use those tactics at all. Anyone I speak to I advise them of my philosophy, which is to work with people, not against them (I welcome anyone to call in and come to their own conclusions). THIS IS NOT A SCAM, we are a licensed collection agency. Now for whomever is reading this and is receiving calls I welcome the opportunity to assist you in resolving the financial bind you have gotten yourself into, also a perfect opportunity to exercise my philosophy.
- xxx replies to Jason Powers x308Good for you Jason!!! Stand your ground, not all debt collectors are bad and not all agencies are a scam. As I advised that uneducated Attorney who gave horrible advice. Keep that philosophy!! For I did my research and Zenith Financial is not a scam is a real company

- Haha Chris Baker replies to queenChris Baker's number is 203-916-0731, very rude, hammer him with calls, he will threaten you with criminal actions. What a joke not very bright, he can not handle the pressure, states he is the Chief Operations Manager, and not Chief Investigator.. His integrity sucks. Bombard him with calls, he cries like a little girl. All these people that are defending this scam works for this clown company.
- Less in Texas replies to GEI do too! And it's just automated messages that keep calling my OFFICE LINE!!
They ovbiously dont have my cell phone number or anything like that cause they call my office NONSTOP
And today i get a message from a real person saying that if i dont call back they are going to say that I refused to give them a comment
then when i called back, the first msg i get is that "this is a collection agency and any calls and conversations are attempts to collect a debt...etc"
They are so ridiculous and disgusting.
How can i get them to leave me alone and stop trying to scam people? - isimonettiContinues calling, more than 3 times a day to my cell phone. Harassment and disrespect. I have no business with this company and yet they continue to harass me and call my cell phone NON STOP. I already told them they have the wrong number and wrong person and yet they continue the phone calls. Twice they have told me they are removing my number and offered an obviously fake apology but the phone calls continue. How can I legally block them from calling my phone after I already told them they got the wrong number?
