Got a call from Ascention Point  888-806-9074 ex 3730 asking for info about late mother in law. I got curious about the name .I'm glad I looked it up.Caller also had the wrong phone number. THanks for all the feedback.Needless to say-no family member will be calling back!Thank you

Came up on caller ID as "Toll Free Caller" with the phone number.  I don't answer unknown calls.  Thanks for the alert as to what the callers from this number are up to.  My father's estate is legally closed so no one could get anything anyway. However, in the last 10 years of his life I assisted or supervised his financial business so I know he had no debt to anyone anyway. These callers are surely attempting to scam the unwary from what other posters are writing.

Ascension Point Recovery Services, LLC (“APRS”) - 1 (888) 806-9073 ext 2097 Forget her name she was very nice.  She called to collect a debt for a deceased relative. Collection from someone who had nothing in probate and no executor of the nonexistent estate but LOTS of DEBT!!  Thousands of dollars - they will keep calling and leaving msgs for at least a year and a few months.  The calls will remain unanswered or returned and any letters trashed.  The relative is dead and no estate to attach the debt to and no one who will pay it.
