Oops, that card just got shredded.  

Thanks to all who took the time to post.  You have saved us a bit of aggravation.  I don't know if it is a scam to ask someone to call you, but it is annoying to call a number and be put on hold, then get a sales pitch should you wait for them to answer.

I just received my card on 12/12.  I'm in Circleville, Ohio south of Columbus.  I googled it before calling and found these comments.  Thanks for sharing everyone.  Happy Holidays!!

Received mine on 12/7. Thought it was maybe something my wife had ordered for me and she thought it was something I had ordered for her. Googled it today out of curiosity. Rats! Shredded it today. Thanks to all that posted. Happy Holidays everyone!

Received the card on Dec. 12, I knew we had recived everything we ordered for Christmas, so I wasn't sure what this could be.  I thought it was strange they mailed it rather than sticking it to the door, so I looked them up, and here I am.  Thanks for all the posts.

I'm from Whitehall, Ohio (suburb of Columbus) and I got one and thanks to everyone it is now in my trash.

Got my card today, Dec. 15. Same spiel, same phone numbers, BUT my wife was born and raised in Texas and still has lots of family there. She was out shopping when I got the mail (imagine!), so I called the number, but got nothing but recordings. Now I know, after reading all these posts...

Oh, btw, I'm in downtown Peoria, OH, about thirty miles outside of Columbus.

The US Postal service will not act or start investigation unless a certain number of complaints have been registered.   Go to postalinspectors.uspis.gov to file one.

received the stamped card from Express Package Delivery at my home address saying to call to schedule pickup (888) 4-PAK-DEL or (903) 839-1500 Hours M-F 9:AM-6:PM (EST)
Return addres was Express Package Delivery P O Box 131690 Tyler TX 75713-1690.

Decided to check out phone #'s and address and found this site to report the scam. I'm in Ohio, outside of Columbus. Who would mail a delivery notice with a stamp.

Received the card yesterday...the only packages I'm expecting are from QVC! I also did the phone number look-up and got nothing. Found this site, and it confirmed what I had been thinking....will take the advice from others and shred the card!  Merry Christmas!

I received the card 12-17-09.  I thought it was a scam and didn't do anything about it.  Then today, I decided to check it out. And it proves to be as I suspected.
