I asked them to stop calling me and I'd call them. They did that no problem. Now I call them when I actually need CPAP supplies and get them within 5 days. No need to call me 3 or 4 times a day for something I don't need.

As for sending supplies without me ordering them.... that's NEVER happened.

Scumbags, scumbags, scumbags!  Those [***] almost cost me my life!  Their only purpose in the world is to screw over you and your insurance company.  In my situation they were and are in cahoots with a so called sleep doctor… beware!!!!!!!!!  Please do your research!  Turns out the doctor that had my life in his hands does not know dick about sleep apnea!  Long, long story but I assure you the doctor in my area and Linscum where in bed together to make a dollar and to hell with the customer!  When my family became afraid for my life they helped double check what these punks were doing and found that the supplies they were renting, selling, etc were so old, so out dated… and when we check around our community we found person after people that have been thru hell and back because of the same doctor and Linscum! If you or someone you know has any dealing with these people RUN don’t walk, RUN THE HELL away from these evil people while you still can!!!!!!

Have been a happy customer of Lincare for almost a year now... they were very helpful in getting me the cpap machine and headgear that I wanted, and call monthly to tell me what supplies I am eligble for, and have never shipped anything that I have not asked for.  They are actually the "good guys" as far as I'm concerned... if you aren't using the machine your doctor prescribed properly and don't care to keep your equipment updated, then you might consider these calls a nuisance, but they're doing their job.

    wow.
if you are so concerned......call the number back.  they only call to see if you need your cpap supplies. if you don't...big whoop...call them and tell them. they'll check with you again when you would like. or you can just request that you only call in when you're in need. simple enough. keep tmoving.

I have experienced some of the same dysfunctions of the Lincare business you referenced.  I gave them
almost three (3) years of my time and tried to be patient as they went through personnel issues during the entire period.  You are correct;  the office I dealt with also did not keep good records;  their calling service also did not keep good records.  As a result I consistently received wrong nose pillows.  On one occasion I offered to bring the incorrect shipment into their office because I had a doctor's appointment in the building next door and it was then I learned they had moved a year prior.  I was
disgusted that they didn't even advise their customers about changing locations!

Not being very mobile, I mentioned I didn't have enough energy to travel to another location to return the wrong shipment and asked for them to have their agent call with some other arrangement.  I never heard from them again.  That is when I decided to terminate their services (sic).

Since then, I have received Medicare and insurance information on their recent billings which are duplicate billings PLUS a footnote that Medicare is trying to collect and amount of $148+ concerning
an overpayment Medicare paid Lincare.  I'm glad my adventure is over and I'm seeking other CPAP
    services.

Lincare is a pain in the ass, calling and waking me up almost daily and also calling my wife a couple of times a day while at her job, it's not service when someone is trying to cram supplies down your thoat or up your nose, I called Lincare, got a answering machine and left a message to quit calling me as I have nicely request several times in the past or I'd get my supplies elsewhere, there are other places  to get supplies if you know what you need and it's not that complicated, Ebay is one source and and any medical supplies business should have what you need..

I'VE PURCHASED TWO CPAP MACHINES FROM LINCARE.  THEIR TECHNICAL SERVICE HAS BEEN GREAT.
BUT, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE !!  IF I KNEW THAT I WAS GOING TO BE HOUNDED TO DEATH BY THE AUTOMATED CALLS FOR SUPPLIES, I NEVER WOULD HAVE DONE BUSINESS WITH LINCARE.
THEY DON'T EVEN GIVE YOU THE OPTION TO BUY THE PART I NEED.
I REALLY AM GETTING TO HATE THIS COMPANY.

Nobody in my family including myself uses cpap supplies or anything of the sort, I get a phone call at least 5 times a day from this number even though i've told them numerous times to stop calling. It's seriously frustrating how I never gave them my phone number, never called them in my life and still I can't get them to quit calling me about these "supplies" I don't use.

it's lincare.  If you use them, take a few minutes to look up how much the supplies cost on Amazon.  You will be amazed.

Lincare is a typical medical services company that commits numerous billing errors. Seems like one department does not know or communicate with the other, and customers are stuck in the middle! Could be their billing/tracking system or their employees.  Likely both cause I was not imressed with the setup of my CPAP by the "therapist"!  I'm letting MY insurance company HealthNet know that Linncare has tried to charge me for services NOT rendered too!

I have been recieving MANY calls from this number and didn't answer because I had no idea who it was.  When I did answer, they said they were from LINCARE, but how was I able to be sure of that.  I have been using LINCARE and have been very satisfied with the exception of the no caller ID thing.  If they had caller ID, you would be happy to pick up the phone.  They called the other day and asked if I needed filters, and I thought that was strange because I had just gotten filters two weeks ago. I am very satisfied with the local division of the company out of Salisbury, MD.  People there are great!

Okay, yes I guess that what they said was Lincare, sounded more like rain care to me. I haven't had my CPAP (so far I call it a torture machine) long enough to need supplies. I'll be needing one of those inlet filters sooner or later. It was billed to my insurance as $35.00, and insurance paid $9.00. It is worth less than a nickel.

I was a Walgreens costumer. Then Lincare stepped in and took over my CPAP stuff. I don't think Walgreens gave me a bill. I kept getting THIS IS NOT A BILL statements from my insurance. All the sudden Lincare sends me two letters every two weeks about how my bill is past due!!! What is that? I called to settle up. Payed my bill, but the letters keep coming. Now I owe $50.00? This is after I payed the $24.00 dollars I thought I owed. The person on the phone never once mentioned a past due amount when I payed. What the??

Respiratory Solutions replies to He who hates LinCare!
I run a CPAP supply company. Interesting to see so many different concerns here. Sad to see so much frustration. First, we cannot send out supplies any more often than your insurance has allowed. We typically call all our patients about 4 times a year and send them 3 months worth of supplies. That way we don't bother you every month. You really should change out your supplies as suggested by Doctors and your insurance company. Those filters are pulling in air and pumping it into your lungs. Dirty filters are not a good idea. We have had calls form patients that waited till their tubing turned green. Once things start growing in your machine it's not good. Moisture and condensation over time can cause problems. Nice pliable masks harden and leak. Change your supplies and stay healthy. FREE TIP: rinse your tubing every morning and hang it up to dry and only use distilled water in your machine. We welcome calls from anyone about your supply needs. We work with insurance as well as offer shopping online too. Reach one of our friendly staff 888- 665 -8855. Rest well everyone.

Call them back and ask them not to call you. It really is that simple, takes less time then ranting about a phone call
