- HOMEMADE replies to HomeMom1963You must be working with these people trying to get money from others. They are not lawyers and whoever told you that..well lets just say you're dumb enough to believe them.
- Tired of Annoying Phone CallsWe just received a similar call. We recently had a phone number change and it was listed under my husband's name. Now, scammers are calling all the time for anyone with the same name as my husband. This is a scam. My husband has a clean credit report (we had it recently pulled for a home loan). These calls are annoying. I have started blocking numbers on my phone. Advice, just try to ignore them. 'Tis the season for scam artists.
- Maxwell Gold replies to HomeMom1963| 1 replyNo one gets their a** (or any other body part) sued for non payment of a payday loan...who in their right mind spends $600 in court filing fees, service of process and recording of judgment fees for a $500 or less payday loan?? If a company does threaten this action PLEASE contact my office @ 407-687-3103 or visit me on the web at www.maxwellgold.org
- me replies to Linda DawsonYou must work for them!!!!
- NR replies to Maxwell GoldThank you, for helping me. I fell victim and pay some money to them. It's insane, how they can make you believe in something that is not true. Not knowing, the law can make a person really clueless.
- brandon| 1 replylook into the laws , you must recive a 30 days notice from any debt collecter, 2 they cant tell you they are going to sue you over the phone. I have turned them in to the fbi my debt lawyer. they call me again the will be getting sued by me

- WingsFan19 replies to HomeMom1963You must be an idiot. No one tells you in advance that they are going to serve you papers / sue you. If they have a "notarized affidavit against your social security number" they need to get it to you, which they dont.
- GeorgiaI rec'd a vm from the computerized voice guy 678-327-0094 saying I rec'd a notorized affidavit w/ my name and ssn (I didn't) where I am the primary person of interest and they need a voluntary statement of intent to review w/ their client to determine if any other action is needed. I was supposed to respond by 11/1/12 (ummm it's 2013). If I don't call 888-878-5206 by the end of today they will file a commencement of activity. Don't hold your breath!

- Joan replies to HomeMom1963| 2 repliesDo you really believe especially in this economy that any SCAM telemarketer co. would serve you papers? much less can issue order for your arrest? Trust me they use information on very old old already written off receivables of payday loan companies, that would not even affect your credit...
Then they proceed calling you several times w no answering as a coerce method to intimidate you.
MY COUNSEL to all of you SUE THEM for every penny you can. I guarantee you they will have to cease.
If you want my services I can help you...HELL NOT KNOWS FURY LIKE MINE" I don't like them...so will make their lives miserable...CONSUMER BEWARE THEY ARE A SCAM do not give them the time or SUE THEM FIRST...you will see they will stop... ah huh! - wow replies to Blackfeetits not a scam telling someone the owe a debt . thats half the problem. you people who find ways to not pay bills give others idea how also not to. you think these places just pull information out of a hat? come on.
- nick replies to brandonpretty sad you even have a "debt" lawyer ! Just sayin

- Jeff SI've received TWO called from two separate numbers today. I did a little digging and here's what I found...
Firstly, I've never taken out such a risky loan. If I needed cash I would contact my bank or approach family. On to my light research:
Calls prompting me to call 888-878-5206 which points to Apex Capital Solutions, LLC. ( http://www.apexcapitalsolutionsllc.com/contact.html ) and they have an address of 3221 Southwestern Blvd. Suite 120 Orchard Park NY 14217. They used a phone number local to me in the 262 area code.
About 20 minutes later, I received a phone call from the same area code demanding I call 877-881-0891. This number comes back to Turning Point Solutions ( http://www.turningpointsolutionsllc.com/contact.html ) which has the address of 3221 Southwestern Blvd. Suite 120 Orchard Park NY 14217.
A quickie search on Google Maps, using Street View pointed to very little but further digging shows that the address is a UPS Store ( http://mojo.myfoxphilly.com/shipping/orchard-park/ny - scroll down a little bit to see the entry for that business ).
I contacted the UPS Store and they're aware of possible fraudulent activity connected to box number 120 and have begun to refuse mail related to it for lack of payment to rent that box.- Caller: Apex Capital Solutions, LLC

- Been There Done thatThey tell you to call back the 888-878-5206 but the actual number will shop up as a # in your local area. They hub the call in so that it looks like someone locally is trying to get in touch with you. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION OUT AND DO NOT ADMIT TO ANYTHING. 1) They can't take you to court or sue you via the telephone. Looks like some folks need to read up on the Fair Debt Collection Standards Act. 2) If you have told them to stop calling keep records of when they call because by law they are liable for damages via the Fair Debt Collections also they can't release any information regarding the debt to anyone else as that is illegal also. 3) They have to serve your employer with garnishment papers before they begin a garnishment and you still have time to fight the debt because your employer can fill out the paperwork also that states that you are not liable for a debt. They are "scavengers" this debt could be 10 years old and as little as .25 and they inflate the cost to where it looks like you owe hundreds. Statue of Limitations is 2 years in most states. Before you do anything READ UP ON THE FAIR DEBT COLLECTION BECAUSE 90% of the time YOU DON'T OWE THE DEBT!!!

- 3 shades of Fed UP replies to HomeMom1963They can't tell you they are going to sue your a** on the phone. Nor can they make threats like that. What rock did you come out from under? They are "SCAVENGERS" and they are harassing. You might want to research the Fair Debt Collections Standard Act while you are Staying at home. Don't give advice out and bully people into your coral and don't act like you know it all when you don't know enough to even give advice. As a former wife of an attorney these people scab over debts that are 10 or more years old and are pushy, arrogant and they will ya-ya back and forth with you. They can't serve you papers over the phone and if they are calling your place of business that STOPS THE MINUTE YOU SAY I AM NOT TO HAVE PERSONAL CALLS AT MY WORK PLACE. They have been reported so many times that your printer would run out of paper if you printed it off. There are about 7 names and they all come from gutterville NY. Buffalo NY and the surrounding areas are a cesspool for this nonsense. RESEARCH COMPLETELY BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH!!
- done Thatthere, Been replies to mmmmm23These people {and I use that term lightly} are bottom feeding scum. The so called debt they claim they will sue you for was written off by the original lender and that entity used it as a tax write off. These [***] bought the 'debt' for pennies on the dollar and are just calling trying to intimidate people into paying something, anything on the so called default. If you talk to them, be the aggressor. Ask for the loan number and most importantly the documents that prove they now own the debt AND HOW MUCH THEY PAID TO AQUIRE THE RIGHTS TO COLLECT. THEY WILL START TO GET ABUSIVE BUT KEEP REPEATING that you want PROOF THAT THEY NOW OWN THE DEBT AND how much they paid for it. They will go away as actually suing you costs them way more than whatever they MIGHT recover from the courts.
- STOP!! replies to LesaDO NOT give them any information that validates who you are. This is just another bottom feeding scam company. Do not believe anything they say pertaining to being served papers at home or at work as it costs money for them to do that and they already are in the red because of purchasing a 'debt' on spec. If THEY call YOU give it to them with both barells. You are allowed to call them names and be abusive as they called you on your phone taking your time. I enjoy getting them so riled up their heads almost explode. But only if they call YOU can you do this
- Jose JonesI received a call from Apex Capital Solutions (local number 262-437-0805, toll free 888-878-5206) looking for the fellow who used to have my phone number a few years back. How do I know he had my number before me? Because for the first year I had the number, I got nonstop calls from a variety collections agencies looking for him. He must have never actually paid a bill in his life. I can't speak to the legitimacy of ACS's business practices, but I would not assume that they are strictly scammers. Anyway, I called the number back, got a human very quickly, and told him the guy they're looking for doesn't have this phone number any longer. He was polite enough and assured me that he'd remove my number from their system.
