This number has been calling me several times a day for several days to wake me up in the morning, then later at dinner.  There is always a few seconds of heavy breathing, then just a hang up.  There's nothing to sell, so it's literally a prank.  Why would they bother shelling out money to make prank calls to random people?

Of course telemarketing....but I'd like to know how they seem to by-pass my voice mail kicking in.  Their number and another call from the 702 area code somehow keep ringing and ringing and ringing.  They should be charged with Criminal Harassment.

this 888-888-8888 number has called me almost everyday since I installed my home phone. They call several times a day and if I answer and say nothing I just get dead air until they hang up. I think they have been calling from another 800 service number, but can't be sure because I've never actually spoken to anyone. It's become very annoying, they have called me 6 times in 2 days, they just won't give up!

i get 4-5 calls a day from that number every day for a month or more its from a place called calling10 its a directory assanitance place please help if you can

I also have been getting these calls as well as others (Different numbers), my phone is through our cable company. They had me go into MY SERVICE ACCOUNT,click on MY PHONE, than click on VOICE ZONE, and that is where you click on CALL BLOCKING and put all the numbers that you want blocked in there. So far so good. Hope it works for you.

This number calls twice a day they don't leave message....

yes I've heard that phone number sometimes. It's said that number is banned in bulgaria because it had an unexplained numerological thing. Every single person who had that phone number, died.

But I don't understand why that number would kill someone because 8 is a lucky number usually?

Or maybe some evil sorcerer is calling from that number while 8 is NOT A NUMBER of an evil sorcerer. Some evil lyer sorcerer obviously?

But I suggest you, NEVER ANSWER PHONE NUMBERS WITH ONLY A SINGLE NUMBER, JUST LIKE 88888888888888888888 or 66666666666666666!!

Just got a call from this number.  Never heard of it before.

'They' called me this afternoon. Since the number looked fishy I pushed the BLOCK button on my phone while it was ringing. If 'they' call back all 'they' will get is a click. No ring, nothing.  Love that button!!!

I'm getting several calls weekly from this phone number and I want them stopped!  They are somehow even getting thru my call blocking as well.

This guy has called me twice. I told him he was scamming. He said how do I know that? The first time he called, he said he was with Microsoft. This time he said he was with RD Technologies. I told him I was recording the call and he was trying to figure out how I knew he was scamming. Then I told him I was going to put a trace on the line and find out where he is. I told him to hold on while I traced the call and he hung up. The first time I said I wanted to speak to his supervisor and he put someone else on the phone. The second he said he was the supervisor. Be careful with this call; they are looking to get your info.

Got a call from 888 888 8888 and the phone said it was ECON HEALTH.As usual I told them to hold on while I put them on hold.This works everytime.When I took the phone off hold 10 minutes later all I got was a dial tone.Love this phone with the HOLD button.
