Lol i get that too...Try calling from a cell phone number

I've been receiving calls at 3AM, 4AM for the past two nights.  No message is left.  I've notified AT&T and placed my number on the national Do Not call list.  Next will be the newsn/a

The calls from 888-888-8888 have recently started coming into my home around the 1am and 2am time frame. They won't leave a message. I wish I knew who it was so I can cut their tongue out of their mouth and then break both of their legs.

They've been calling at weird hours,early am's.no one is on the other end of the line,it is extremly upsetting!

This num has been calling my mom and its a man trying to get her vehicle info and gets really angry when she asks questions back.  They call her like 4x a week!

I got a message from this number today. They have my name and gave me an account reference number, asking that I return the call. No business name or purpose was stated. Highly suspicious.

This number called me yesterday and I didn't pick it up because it was such a sketchy looking number. They left a message stating my full name and to call back the same number and gave me a 7 digit account number. At first I thought it was a creditor but then again I have no debt- so what are they trying to pull with me?? I called back anyway and an automated voice said the call can't go through-- very strange.

Just got this call last night on a new cell# that is privacy blocked.  Received a call at 12:38 am & 3:39 am.  I haven't set up voice mail yet on this phone, so there were no voice mails.

What the hell?  2nd night in a row that I've received a call from this number.  I say hello and hear silence.  If it happens again I am going to investigate further.  I keep getting the strangest feeling I am being watched.  Is it the CIA messing with me?

I turned the service off on 4/01/09, switched to new phone and turned service back on on 4/05/09. I have been recieving text messages since. 04/03/09 my service was turned off I have text messages with the date 04/03/09. I spoke with some on at Virgin Moble (carrier provider) on 4/01/09 and then again on 4/05/09 they "black listed" this number (888)888-8888. still recieving text messages.

Recieved a call from 888-888-8888 at work @ 2:54pm and waited for a moment before speaking since it was an odd number and that I recieved a call yesterday from 310-000-0000. I did my company welcome phrase and a man responded claiming to be Discover. He explained that this was a Discover call and that they wanted to send flyers with insurance, new details of the new card, and get information from us. I told him that I didn't have that information or authority and suggested to call corporate... Then he did his farwell phrase then I just hung up on him.

We get these calls regularly as well, one time they left message for me to call them regarding my account number blah blah blah, they knew my name and where I lived.  Needless to say I wont call back anyone who wont identify themselves, their company or reason for the call.  Thank Goodness for caller ID!  And the web that can have this sort of postings for others to be aware of what is going on!  PS if your in the US make sure your on the federal do not call registery, if you actually answer the phone stating this usually gets them to hang up on you and stop calling.

I got 2 calls on my cell phone one at 5:43am and one a little while after that.

I rec'd a cll from this number at 3:30 this morning - NOT HAPPY!!!!

they called me every three hours all night long i didnt answer i was trying to sleep

Starting last week I have been getting calls from 888.888.8888 at 3:51am the first time and today at 2:45am.  I don't hear anything at all, no one talking or even a recording.  It's my cell phone they are calling.  When I call back it tells me that my call can't be completed.

I got a call from the 888-888-8888 at 1:30am. I was pissed. I get up for work at 4:30am. I would like to know who the hell it was so I can put a stop to it. These scammers and telamarketers are getting out of control. I want to chance my number just so I can stop all the calls for a while.
