Keep getting called. No one on other end. Called back and recorded message said that number is unavailable at this time.

Keep getting calls, no one on line.

I think that Verizon has sold my telephone number to these scumbags. I've been getting these phone calls after I updated my contact number with Verizon.

Fortunately, my VOIP has a blacklist or call blocking feature so I just added their number to the list.

i got a call from this # at 3:40 am this morning. i tried to call it back and it said it could not be reached from my area. I just find it weird that they would call a that time.

Definitely not happy with these people.  The only thing I can find is Alliance Carpet Company off of anywho.com like some one else said earlier on this message board. But when I called back, I didn't get a busy signal. It said, the call can not be completed like dialed ....hang up and try again. No thanks!

This number keep textin me ova and ova and ova please make it stop!!!!!!

Yep got the call about 1am CST.  It said "Alliance Carpet" on the caller ID.
Obviously the number and name are fake.  I did call back and got a recording about how it was not in service.

i keep getting calls from this number 1-888-888-8888 all hours of the morning 3am , 2am etc. it happened 3 nights in a row already and it's creeping me out

Got a call from 1-888-888-8888 displaying UNAVAILABLE.  Did not answer.  Does someone else have the number now?

got a call from this # at 3 am but never get to the phone in time to answer since i am SLEEPING if I find out who it is I will be filing a complaint wiht better business bureau.

I got a call from 888-888-8888 at three in the morning and when I picked up, no one answered.  I Google'd the number and found this and many other sites all complaining about this number.  I hope they don't call again.

I have been receiving calls from 888-888-8888 and as long as I say hello, they stay on the line, but as soon as I say "is there something you want to say" they hang up.  The person that mentioned Spoof is on to something. My brother used Spoof a few times and you can do a lot of crazy things with that. He even called me with my number showing up on caller id.  I think all of us that are getting these calls must know the caller, creepy huh? So if you think you might know someone who is doing this to you, say something to them personally and see what happens. Just a thought. Oh and the person that mentioned COMCAST, right you are...LOL.. They told me the same thing.

Oh just another thought you guys, please do not call these people back. I know it's tempting, but you could be setting yourself up for a trap. People these days are dangerous and I would highly suggest not calling them back. If they keep calling, call your phone company (as long as you don't have COMCAST, LOL) and they can tell you ways to block the calls. I feel bad for those of you getting late night calls. IF you are on the DO NOT CALL LIST you can rule out telemarketers. They are not allowed to call you for any reason and it is illegal to call past 8:50pm and before 7:50 am I know because I used to do telemarketing. Sorry, don't hate me.

i am receiving these calls 2-3 times a day. i have called the "Do Not Call List" for telemarketing calls and had my new number put on the list. i changed numbers about a year ago and never put my new number on the list.

I got two calls from this number.  I answered both times but nobody was on the other end.  The first call was at 8 p.m. an dthe 2nd was about 4 a.m.

grrrr they called me 31 times in 8 minutes!

This number called me and it was CONSUMER DIRECT WARRANTY SERVICES it's appears to be a extension warranty for your car. Apparently what I've been reading is that it's a big scam. I guess this 888 888 8888 number either gets bounced around alot or is somehow spoofed. STAY AWAY.

Somebody must know who is using this ID or causing this ID to show up on SPAM calls.

I have had this number call my cell phone at 3:00am and at 5:00am both time it would ring a few times and hang up. I tried calling it back and my phone service says not a number. Whats the deal
