I had a call of this number, when I answered they just hung up, who was it?

This strange number calls several times a day. No one talks but you here lots of background noise like other people on phones, telemarketers maybe. But why don't the idiots talk? They are an annoyance and I wish they'd knock it off!

Got a call from this number.  Caller ID said TOLL FREE CALLER.  Caller told me that he was with Windows (Microsoft implied) security and my computer was sending messages that showed them that a computer crash was imminent.  He started asking me who owned my computer, etc.  I told him I would get my IT guys right on it.

Scum sucking bottom feeders, useless waste of the planet's precious resources.
Don't wait for someone to answer, don't leave message on answering machine. 4x in the last two days

Got a call from them.  Didn't answer but called them back.  It's a marketing call and it was a sales pitch that charges $9.99 per month to give you directions or something that sounds like a scam.

+88888888888 just called me 4 times and maybe another time by with held number all within 10-15 minutes. Really annoying

got a call from 888-888-8888....answered, it immediately rang as if I was making an outbound call, then someone said my (first) name, as if it were a question. I said Yes? And a man with a HEAVY Indian accent said "My name is Sam from Bahama Cruise Lines, how are you?" All I said was "I am fine and not interested" and hung up. Probably not the last time I'll hear from them. I'm sure they wan to tell me that I won a free cruise from them. Pfffft! They can bite me.

Friday 1/25/13, I received a call from 888-888-8888 and called the number back to see who called. After that call my phone froze and did not work any more. It will not reset!

I continue to receive calls from 888-888-8888 on my LandLine telephone! This happens 1-2 times daily; beginning 5 days ago. It is my policy to never, never answer phone numbers that are unfamiliar to me, look fake: as this number (Magic Jack?), & say "Unknown Caller" "Toll Free Number" etc.
Something more drastic must be done with these idiots !?!

Same here just breathing and voices in the background been calling for like 2 weeks now

They called me 02-27-2013. I did not answer. I get many calls from bogus fraudsters because I run ads selling on Craigslist. I believe that is one of the main ways they get our phone numbers. I just never answer the calls. It does not bother me. Then I put them on a list of harassing phone numbers and block them.

i just got a call from this number and they said, i had been selected to receive money from the government ,and that i didnt have to pay it back.

i just got my second call in 2 days from this number. i answered "hello?" both times followed by silence on their end and then an electronic sound ending the call. I called my carrier (verizon) and I asked them to block it, and they were able to. Even though the call said it came from verizon, customer service had no idea what that number was and said it was probably a scam.

I've received two calls from this number this week. No one answers. Just the number being all 8's makes me wonder if its a scam. Heads up people!

This number 9315700706 text my phone saying Please don't ignore this you have won a free cruise for 2... then says to call 8889916415. I called T-Mobile, and I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call registry. These people are wasting my minutes, and costing me money...as well as wasting my time. I wish there was a was to prosecute!
