No message on answering machine.

I received 15 calls from this phone number within the past month.  I had no idea where these calls were coming from until I did a search online.  I finally called TW Cable - According to them, they would only call to confirm an appointment or to bring your attention to a delinquent account.  My account history shows that I did not have an appointment, nor did I have a delinquent account.  You can ask to be put on their "Do Not Call" list - This SHOULD stop the phone calls!

They've done it to me as well.
Really annoying as I am already on the "Do Not Call" list.
Time Warner is awful when it comes to customer service.

They call to try to sell me their latest package deal, which includes home telephone service.  I don't even have a home phone, nor do I want one.  I keep telling them the same thing over and over, but they keep calling.  I'm not sure what they think it will accomplish other than wasting their own time and money.  Not the brightest sales strategy, to annoy the hell out of their own paying customers.

I also have gotten calls from this telephone number everday for the last month and did this online search. Now that I know it is time warner calling I will definitely not pick up the phone. I have also gotten 1-2 mailers a week about changing my home phone service to their company. I agree that they are probably trying to get me to switch to their service when I already have the cable and internet with them. I will definitely not talk to them since another person said that the do not call list with them is not being utilized.

It's Time Warner Cable. I have been receiving these calls practically once every other day for the past month or so, and finally picked up just to tell them not to call me again. They were trying to sell me their cable and phone package, and I had to say "No" about 5 times before the guy finally just hung up.

RCVD CALLS DAILY AND NIGHLY FROM THIS NUMBER.. TIME WARNER CABLE..WANTING TO SELL INTERNET SERVICE.. IT'S THERE TELEMARKING NUMBER.. TRY AND REPORTING IT TO THE DO NOT CALL LIST..THEY WILL STOP THEM FROM CALLING. THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE AND ARE VERY ANNOYING--I ALREADY TOLD THEM I DONT HAVE A COMPUTER AND DONT NEED INTERNET SERVICE..LOL

Funny, I work for Time Warner and I get the calls too.

This number isn't the ACTUAL Time Warner...it's a spam company that posses as Time Warner. I have Time Warner (and LOVE it) and the apartments I live in has a guy that does all of cable/internet/phone work for the tenants. He says that it's a spam company that will pose as different companies depending on the area they're calling.

I have received several calls from this number on my cell phone, once on a weekday at about 2 pm, twice at about 7 pm.  Time Warner Cable has this as my "home" number.  I have them for cable Internet only.  The caller identifies herself by full name and "Time Warner", at which point I dismiss her with one sentence.  TW sends me ads which I read and toss, but calls like this just cost me money so I trash them ASAP.

My monthly bill with them at my old address was over $244 per month for internet & cable, because I was taking care of the bill for myself & my roommates.

That did not even include phone service! Two Hundred Forty Four Dollars a MONTH!

When I moved to a new house, I had to wait for about 2 weeks for a Time Warner installer to come out to install the service at my new address, finally to get it installed and up-and-running. 2 days later, my service got shut off due to a minor delinquency that carried over from the previous address. But they totally closed my account!

They did not warn me that they would do this, or I wouldn't of taken a day off of work to have the installer come out to transfer the service in the first place!

In other words, the woman told me that even if I paid off the past due amount, she would still not be able to reinstate my service.

So, to summarize, Time Warner Cable (of whom I have been a customer with for over 1 year now), sent an installer out to drill holes in my wall last Thursday. (Today is Saturday.) And then they went and CLOSED MY ACCOUNT without any warning two days later (Today).

Why would I waste my time (or money) with these idiots anymore?

The LOWEST speed internet that Verizon offers through fiber optic internet in my neighborhood (North Hills, CA) is FASTER than than the "FASTEST" top-of-the-line internet that Time Warner has to offer. Also, I hear from friends who have Verizon FiOS TV that their TV service is light-years beyond anything that Time Warner or Satellite has to offer.

TIME WARNER CABLE IS FOR SISSIES. Go Verizon.

888-892-2253  caller ID was on our phone at 1:48 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010, & when I answered the
phone no one responded...& then the phone started to beep that the caller had hung up...

yep it's time warner - 3 calls in less then 5 mins and no message  - called it back and talk to customer service and she said well I don't know why they're call there are not notes on your account - well nooooo kidding - bill is paid on time every month........let alone I had to freakin press 1 to get ENGLISHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LOL......sad in our own ENGLISH speaking country we have to dial a number to talk to someone in ENGLISHHHHHHHHH!!  got the point?

The call seems to be placed every 7 days; I did not take the call but would not anymore, since I now read that its from TWC itself (funny why they want to derate themselves).

This company did not call me, however, their phone number did appear in my billing statement for an unauthorized transaction of $485. I don't recall subscribing to their services or even receiving anything from them. I didn't even know this company existed!

Somehow they obtained my credit card information and made that large transaction.

I filed a dispute against them in my bank, and they are currently under investigation.
Hopefully they get caught!

I received calls a few times from 888-892-2253. Simple solution: Logged into my Verizon wireless account & added this number to my blocked numbers list...poof..no more calls. I am not wasting my time calling thme & asking to be removed from their list. You should have this service with your wireless service provider...just block it. Problem solved. Bye.
