It is a Time Warner Cable number that they apparently use for numerous reasons.  I was actually calling them, not the other way around.  They provide this number for "customer service" when your cable service is not working properly.  FYI....this is the LAST number to call if you are in need of "customer service".  I've spent hours, (yes, hours!), on numerous calls over the last month to resolve service issues, and still NO assistance or resolution.  Interestingly, I just missed a call with no message from 714-676-0384, which according to other reports on this site is also a Time Warner number.  I am personally going into their office to handle face to face.

Calls coming . . . it says Time Warner and per web search . . . they are soliciting business.

We are on the do not call list and will soon be turning this over to our attorney.

Received a call once a day for a few days and eventually hit 3 times a day including weekends. Blocking this number is the best solution ever.

Time Warner sucks!  I disconnected my internet service 1 business day ago.  They spent 30 minutes asking me to reconsider.  I finally blew up at the customer service rep, and told them to just disconnect the %&@$ service and stop wasting my time.  So now, 1 day later and after their auto-dialer has called my number 5 times already, I finally speak to another guy asking me to sign up again and demanding me to explain why I disconnected in the first place.  
I told him to end the conversation and to remove my number from the auto-dialer.  He told me that it will take 30 days.  I wonder, why our regulators allow these companies to abuse their customers.  I mean, legislation permits them up to 30 days to remove my number.  So naturally, Time Warner says their systems can only respond in 30 days to a do not call request; But they managed to add my name to the list in 1 day.  F$%k these companies and their pals in the regulatory agencies.  No reason for this to take 30 days.

I get calls from this number and it just hangs up on me when I answer. Nice Time Warner. On top of the service that never works, I am harrassed inappropriately as well. Beautiful. I moved into my place last July. I have had "technicians" come over to "fix" the problem at least 10 times. Yes, 10 physical visits to my home. I have had to call to report a problem more than 25 times. I have NOT called to report a problem maybe over 30 times (because I just didn't feel like spending another hour or two of my time talking to another person who can't fix the problem). I didn't think I would EVER say this but Comcast was actually much better....and the SUCKED too! Of course they just love taking our money.

i just had tw service installed. the guy told me i would get a call for a automated survey on service. they'll keep calling until you answer thats how i got it to stop....

I haven't picked up any calls from this number, but they've been calling me nonstop over the past few weeks. I'm even on the "do not call" list and the calls have not stopped. I have Time Warner internet, so I'm guessing that's why I keep getting calls?

This number called my cell phone but did not respond when I answered. I recently had a Time Warner account, but cancelled before they installed anything. (Long story, but not TW's fault <shakes fist at AT&T>)

They have also, since I cancelled, sent me an email congratulating me on becoming a new customer. I wonder if they will send me a bill after cancelling with them...They said they wouldn't, but well, we all know how that goes...

Just got Time Warner service over the weekend.

For the last two days, I have received calls from this number over 5 times per day.

Just got a call from 888-892-2253, didn't pick up and they left a voice message. It was someone from Time Warner cable in regards to delinquent services. Left a number to call back. I have TW, but I have auto pay so there is never a problem. I won't be calling back, they are most likely a scam.

I just got a voicemail from this number. It is from Time Warner Cable's automated customer satisfaction survey. In my case, this was not spam, a hoax, fraud or anything malicious. They are just trying to rate their services.

If you just recently spoke with a TWC representative as I did, there is a possibility the call is a follow-up to that call you made.

I don't answer numbers with an 888 or 800 but once I checked out the number here, I now know it was TIme Warner.  I had actually just got off the phone with them less than 30 minutes ago because I wanted to order the wrestlemania pay per view.  The rep said that I may get a call for a survey, I didn't think they would call so soon.

They keep on calling me.  When I was a customer, I picked up the phone a few times and it was a market solicitation.  I told them to never call me unless I owe them money.  They said they would not call back but they still do.

When I had the service, it was a nightmare.  Nobody there has any integrity.  They waste my time and make false promises.  They even kept on mailing the bill to my neighbor and I told them you have the wrong address and I was assufed it was updated.  They still mailed my bill to my neighbor.  

Now I cancelled my service, they call me every weekday except weekends.  Sometimes twice a day.

Received call May 11, 2012.  No message left.

This is a fraudster on my caller id it said tim warner, i picked up my phone and said hi tim like you usually do when you know who it is.. than he said "hey whose this? my names not tim its steve" than i told him to go f*** himself your not frauding me b*****
