I got no fewer than 37 texts from 89069 in the space of 4 minutes last week. I have checked my orange bill online and have been charged for every one of them. I am still waiting on orange getting back to me with a suitable reply otherwise the mobile will end up in the bin. I aint paying that bill for a number which i have not subscribed to.

Had the same problem. I read this thread as soon as I started receiving them and e-mailed Orange to let them know that I did not want to see these charges on my next bill. I continued receiving them even after I texted "STOP ALL", it's even indicated on my bill that after I texted them I received another 10 messages.

It looks like nothing can be done in the way of stopping these ****ers so i'm going to give Orange 2 options: wipe the charges or close my account which i've had with them for 6 years.

    I'm not standing for this.

PS: if anyone wants to bombard these ****ers with abuse their contact details can be found here: http://www.blue-stream.biz/contact_us.php

They've got me too - Same number - Rudetubex - just ignored them at first but then I came to check my PAYG bill and realised it's down by at least £1.50 every week and this has been going on for at least three months now.

I've now emailed WIn and will mail/phone phonepayplus tomorrow and hope I get some satisfaction.

I'm with Orange and am disappointed thay nobody seems to have had any help from them

    GOOD NEWS - SO FAR

I am the Pauline from above. As I said I emailed customerservices@winplc.com
last night. This morning I received a reply from a very nice lady stating that my number had been removed and I would receive a postal order for the refund.
Can't beat that (if it works). I will keep you posted.

Just got a txt from 89069. My PAYG phone is old and I don't get a bill or anything, as I only top up a tenner a month. I rarely give my number out, and even then only do so if I know who or what it's going to, so how do these a$$holes get hold of your number? I really hope I'm not gonna be charged £1.50 a time or the phone will be binned and I'll get another one...

Two weeks ago I got a text telling me i'd been signed up to some porn service: www.o-w-o.mobi
I didn't like the sound of "signed up" but I didn't think I would get charged so I just iognored it.

But then I  got another text today saying how they had more content or something available so I checked my bill.  Turned out I got charged £1.28 for that first message i recieved telling me I was signed up!  I didn't think this was possible.  God knows if I will be charged again for this latest text.  This one said to text "STOP" to stop it so I did that and it claims to have stopped the 'service'.

It angers me that these garbage texts are getting through to me.  I think this is the only one I've been charged for but I'fe been having other messages too which often prove quite embarracing.  Is there a way to block these premium rate SMS all together?

Unsolicited text msg from rudetubex offering WAP porn videos. I have had no contact with this company or have ever used my mobile on the internet, yet got charged £1.50 for a text.

I had texts from this number and sent the STOP text. They then sent me unsubscribed messages which I just deleted as they'll charge you again for reading them. I then complained to http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk and when you check the number on this site it gives you this address:

    WIN (Wireless Information Network) Ltd

got one today and came to this site, i've contacted highconnect so hopefully can get it sorted so i won't get anymore messages, i told them they can keep the £1.50 as long as it doesn't happen again...

i've had the same number for nearly 9 years and i've never had anything like this before, but it was only a few weeks ago i texted in for a channle 4 competiton, could just be coincidence, but its the only place i've ever texted bar my friends, how else did they get my number?

I also have received text from these people,i am on the TPS so cant understand how i got these text in the first place ? Anyway after reading through all the posts on these 'rudetubex' people, they dont actually have a web page funnily enough ! So i contacted this address customerservices@winplc.com and asked to have these stopped and a full refund.I like the person above have had my number for many years, why should i change it ? my service provider (orange) should be able to stop these text,im sure they could if they really wanted to ! Anyway, good luck to those who are also having problems with these, lets hope they stop.
