Similar to the call I got. I asked the caller if he had a Do Not Call list as I was already on it. He then ignored my question and said something like Ï'll call  you later then". I insisted on speaking to his manager immediately. He said the manager was busy with another call. I said "get another manager" (I've worked in telemarketing and even the smallest ones will typically have at least 2 managers). He hung up on me.

For some reason, call display showed "yali16".

People keep calling my office looking for people by the last name rogers from this number and others. I "helped" one out from losing his job by just saying that they could reverse look up the address (that he gave me). I was getting over 5 calls a day.

When I told this jerk that I will forfeit my gift and he can give it to whom ever he wants he said he will come after me. I said I will call the cops on him. Why is this person not stopped? I tried to call Bell to deal with this but of course their customer service does not operate at this time. So the weirdoes win! I will deal with this further!!!!!!

Same story, his name given was Daniel and the phone number to call was 416-628-9766 ext 1240, which is BS.

Called at 8PM on Sunday.

Told me he had some Canadian Gift Promos.  I hung up.  He called back and asked why I hung up on him, I told him because I didn't want to talk to him... he told me to [***] off, I asked for his supervisor... he continued with insults, told me to bend over so that he could [***] me.  He called back 4 times and hung up on me.  Very thick Indian Accent.  Calling Police to make complaint.

'Daniel' from the Canadian Gifting Centre, claimed I filled out a coupon in December 2007 and that he had it in front of him.  He knew my street address, but couldn't tell me the apartment number (if I filled out a coupon, why would I not include the apartment number?).

Got a call from this number and the guy says he has a cheque or gift card for me. I told him to beat it and he called back like 10 times in a few minutes. Pure fraud...

Received a call last night from this same #, the person asked for me by name and I played it off like it wasn't me. He asked who I was and at first I didn't give him any info, I told him he better not be selling anything. he claims he was doing a follow up call and asked how old I was, I replied that I was 21 and he mumble something, which I had to ask him bout 4 time to repeat. When I heard what he said "Are you a virgin", I cussed him out and told him I was reporting this to the police.

I received a call from this number with a caller ID of yali16, claimed to be from NGC, National Gift Center in Woodbridge, said that me or a family member had filled out a ballot in June and that we won, I said "ya, ok, that's nice, f--- off" and hung up. Then a call back right away from yali08, I answered and it was a different voice but the same heavy east Indian accent and he said that I told him to f--- off and that he was going to come and f--- me and my mother!!!!! I told him not to call the number again and that I was reporting it to the police. Then the first one called back AGAIN and calmly told me that I won a prize, I told him what just happened, he apologized and said to ignore it and insisted that me or a family member won a prize, had the surname, full address and phone number. I asked him if one of us filled a ballot what is the first name on it. He said there was no first name. I said EVERY ballot asks for a first name, he said it wasn't filled out with first name. I told him NOT to call my number again, that he is a fraud and if he calls my number again I will have him charged with harrassment as I was reporting them to the police, he then asked why I was being so upset with him and I yelled at him very slow to NOT call my number again, then he asked me how old I was, I told him he was being reported and hung up. Haven't received a call since but he will certainly get the ultimate call if he calls back when my husband is home!!!

This guy "Oscar" calls my mom and tells her that she has filled out some coupon and has won one of 5 prizes - $1,000 being the first prize.  My mom doesn't understand English very well and "Oscar's" thick accent did not make things easier for her.  She asked "Oscar" to call me at work so that he could explain to me what it was he was saying.  Now, all of a sudden he tells me I filled out some coupon and that I've won a big prize.  When I tell him I'm not interested and don't want to discuss it at work, he gets pushy and rude and wants to know why I wouldn't want to win $1,000.  Then he tells me in his country it is hard to find work so he came to Canada and has a family to feed and is a very poor man.  This is when I hung up.  Don't mean to be cold hearted but this is not how he began the call and I had no idea where he was going with it.  I saw the number appear on my display a couple more times and never picked up again!

This guy with a thick accent called and asked if I was Mrs. X--?
I said, yes.
He said they're calling from a National Gifting Centre.
I asked him to repeat from where and he did.
Then he went on to say something about them receiving something from me, and then the line went dead.

they call my mother saying that she filled a ballot which she diddnt..the guy even knows her surname before marrige...which she never gives out. they wont stop calling us, they said we won a prise, and they told my mother to go to their place without her kids.

Someone from this number called my house asking for my mom. When I told him that I was her daughter he insisted that I tell him my name. BeFORE i told him my name i asked where he was calling from and he said Canada Gift...after I told him a fake name he hung up the phone. When I tried to call the number back, the operator said that that number was not assigned.

This number came up on my phone with the Id yali15. He claimed to be doing a follow up call for some gift thing. Asking him a lot of questions about if he is a telemarketer and what he is doing makes him antsy and he will be in a hurry to get off the phone. So much for the "do not call list". If anything we have received more telemarketing calls than before!

Same as the above, caller ID showed yali15. Told me that I had filled out some ballot back in June and told me where to pick up my prize. So I said yes, yes, yes to everything and when he transferred me to his supervisor, I hung up.  They called right back but I didn't pick up this time.

I got the same phone call today from the same number with the same claims! I don't know what should be done to stop these people

They called yesterday so I did my homework. Absolute scumbags that apparently can be very abusive. I just yelled at them and hung up. We are on the do not call list. Time for a complaint to Ottawa.

I received the same phone call yesterday (yali08) telling me what I had won by filling out a coupon at "Walmart or somewhere else" in July this year... On this coupon, I would have put down that I was married and that our family income would be more than 50,000 $. They asked me to come pick up my gift certificate at an address 2nd floor somewhere in Woodbridge, Ontario today. I told them off and hung up. Seconds later the "manager" called again and again and again asking why I had hung up and even my threat that I would call the police did not seem to impress him. My wife afterwards told him politely to never call as again and the phone remained quiet...

Got two calls from that number (905-366-7259) tonight, did not answer first call, only second one. Claimed to be from the Canadian Gifting Centre in Woodbridge. Very poor command of the English language. Gave me the same story as he did with others respondents, i.e. I filled out a coupon some time ago. Told him that I did not, he said that I probably forgot (fat chance !). When he gave me the spiel about free gifts etc., I told him that I had no interest in such deals and hung up. Checked the internet, that Company is also active in the USA, I found several websites with complaints about them. Another scam artist, but they never seem to give up. Phoned that number back, got a recording that the number is not in service.
