A man from this number called me today. He had an accent as well. We've received several calls asking for another person that doesn't live here. I politely asked him to take us off their list and he told me to "SHUT UP" My husband then took the phone and yelled at him and hung up. The idiot actually called us right back!!!! I believe it's the same person calling us from some security company several times, but it was a different number. I should have been surprised to see complaints about this number, but I guess I'm not. I too couldn't call it back. But I did file a complaint with the CRTC.

I received the same phone call. After hanging up the man repeatedly called back progressively getting more aggressive, ending by calling me a [***] and [***]. I have reported this call and encourage all others to do so as well. Currently phonebusters only have 3 calls on file. The more they get, the better the investigation.

I got a call from this heavy accented dude named "Bernard". My sister and I were just talking about how sketch some callers are, and all of a sudden "Bernard" calls saying that we've won a prize and he's from Canadian Gifting Centre. It was 9.34pm!! Telemarketers can't call past 8 or 9, so wtf?
I refused to give the name of anyone in the house and always referred to the person he was asking to talk to as "sorry, but the person you wanted to talk to" or "the person you are asking to talk to" and didn't give any information. And he wanted to verify information -- and I'm thinking "skeezy" and said that the person he wanted to talk to isn't home and he then asked me how old I was -- 1) I'm not the person you're calling for, 2) my information wouldn't help him in any way unless he's a SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

I CALLED BACK and their phone isn't in service. Though their no. showed local, it was a long-distance phone ring.

Beware of these guys - it is a scheme, they are obviously in an ID theft business. This number is out of service. The other number they gave me belonged to somebody who was not aware of this and was surprised getting my call.

I think the Indian guy found this site, because he keeps posting positive comments, with the same text over and over again. The problem is that he uses really bad grammar and it looks like it's been written by a 15 year-old.
Anyway, I also got a call with the same story about me filling out a coupon in 2008 and that I didn't need to pay anything, just go to their office in Woodbridge. I cut him off really quick and told him that I didn't recall filling out any prize coupons and wasn't interested. I think you can draw your own conclusions..This is the text in the previous "positive feedback" posts:
"I GOT A CALL from CANADIAN GIFTING CENTRE.The guy who was on the fone with me.HE told me i have to come on tue 6:45pm.i thought should go & let s check out wht is all abt?BECAUSE i was also thinking myself as a winner contest SO when i went ITS true that i stayed around 1 hour overthere for the celebration & they served a buffet as well .& I GOT A PRIZE as well which was CARRIBEAN CRUISE TRIP for two including meals & all i wanted to know iS THAT REAL OR NT ..IT WaS BECAUSE I GOT MY PRIZE too ..and i didn't pay , buy or even signing up nothing. but dont understand  WHY U ALL ARE writing BAD COMMENTs against them...even tough i got a priz."

He told me that I had won a TV, I replied "No thank-you" and that I don't fill forms out to avoid telemarketing. I informed him I was on the government do not call list. Very rude and would not take no for an answer. I ended up hanging up on them.

This @$$hole just called me four times in a ROW.  The first time, I told him I wasn't interested and hung up.  The second time, I said, "You just called me.  I'm still not interested".  The third time (literally TEN SECONDS after I hung up the phone) I answered the phone with, "You've got to be [***] kidding me??"  and he said, "No, no, just hear me out..."  I hung up.  The fourth time (ten seconds later), I answered with, "I'm calling the police now!" and the calls finally stopped.

I received a phone call from the same number. However, the number that appeared on my call display screen was 905-368-7856. I was also told that I had qualified to win one of five grand prizes because I had filled out a ballot last September. When I asked where I had filled out the ballot, he told me that his company - Premium International- had over 65 locations across Ontario and that he wasnt sure where it had come from. I was told that I had to present myself at their address with a gift claim number in order to claim my prize.  Since I couldnt make out a thing he was saying, he then transfered me over to his superior named Jason who told me that the company's name was Ontario Grant Centre.  I was a little taken back and a little worried that they had all my information. Furthermore, I was creeped out when he continued to ask if I was single or if I had a boyfriend and if our combined annual income was $60 000 or more. He also asked me to bring my boyfriend with me to the Gifting Ceremony. I am curious to find out who is behind all of this and how they managed to get all my information.

We are in Canada, nothing for free, right.. We keep saying NONONO then asking our winning gift, they gave us 2 papers. Hi,

Similar to everyone here, I received a call from "Ontario Grant Centre" at 9:11 AM.  The first person on the phone had a very thick east asian accent.  He said I had won a prize based upon a coupon I had completed in December.  He said that I could win one of the following:

1- Arabian Cruise (might have been Caribbean but with his accent sounded like arabian)
    2- Giant Screen TV
    3- Hilton Head Vacation
    4- $1000
    5- 1 week in Cancun

    Their address is:
    216 Chrislea Rd, 2nd flr
Woodbridge (near hghwy 7 & weston)

He transferred me to his senior supervisor "Shane Smith" who confirmed my info:
1- age 30 - 79 (maybe it was 39 but he had a heavy accent as well)
    2- income >50k

He said there company was Canadian Grant Centre and that there was no obligation they were promoting thier company in Canada.  He said they were US based and operate in the US under the name "Premium Buyers Club".

I found the following link describing "Premium Buyers Club":
    http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/premium-bu ... eferrerid=32220

He provided me with a "password" that we needed to present.  As well, we could not bring our children with us (unless over 14).  This all sounded very strange.  I told him that the "password" was a strange step as: a- you contacted me and have my contact info; b- if I bring two pieces of ID it corroborates my ID.  He became a little agitated and said that this was their procedure and part of their gifting ceremony.

He provided me a contact number of 416-548-5981 and called from ID 905-258-9201.

I called back with feedback from this site and asked to speak with "Shane".  I was transferred to someone who answered "Extension 6060".  I asked if it was "Shane" and he said yes.  I told him they had mislead and that we were not interested in listening to a program where we had to purchase points and that we would not be coming in.  He was defensive and tried to push me to come in.  I declined and he said "no problem" and let go of the call.

Received a call from a heavily accented gentleman the "Ontario Grant Centre" (or "Ontario Grant Center" depending on how you spell the name).  He claimed that I had filled out a ballot last June and had won a prize.  He then listed out the prizes ($1000, Cruise Ship Vacation, Large Screen TV, Vacation in Hilton Head NC, Vacation in Cancun or Florida).  All I had to do was come in to their offices at 216 Chrislea Road 2nd Floor (in Woodbridge) to draw.  He then wanted to verify some information (at which point I simply hung up).  This guy had the nerve to call back at which point I told him I was going to call the police and hung up.

I just received a call from 905-254-2350 - this is similar to a situation with another phone number and seems to be common.  A woman told me I had won one of five prizes - she gave me an address of 6175 Highway 7 Unit 6 that I would go to in order to claim my prize.  This call was from "Ontario Grant Centre" a new company that they are trying to promote - yet you can't find it on the internet anywhere.  When I was transferred to the manager "Steve Carner" he explained the whole process to me - I would go in, I must be with my partner (I told him my partner would not be available and this was not ok - he told me I should try to find any male friend that would say he was common-law with me, as that is what I filled out on my form) I would not have filled that out, as I am not common-law.  He then tried to varify some information with me that was all incorrect - so I started to get skeptical.  As I was questioning the fact that you can't find his company on the internet anywhere, I was disconnected. They have now called my house back four times as I'm writing this message.  definitely sounds like a scam of some sort and I'm actually very uncomfortable with the fact that they kept me on the phone for so long and verified my last name.
