Got a call from 905-366-7259 and did not answer.  I tried a reverse look up and was not found and then decided to google it and I ended up here.  Thanks to all for your comments and I will be sure not to answer any future calls.  I am also on the "Do Not Call" list which is apparently useless when it comes to scam artists.  I have caller ID but no voicemail, so hopefully if they continue to call they will get bored and leave me alone! Also I read EVERY single comment here and there was one with poor english from a "Michael Hudson" on September 11th, comment said: "i recived the same call 2 days aago and i went there i got television set of toshiba the ceromany was nice and  I enjoyed!"  As if someone who actually won something would be on this site to let us all know...we are all obviously not as dumb as they would like to think we are!  Thanks again!

got a call from the 905-366-7259 number. Didn't pick it up so I googled it. I found this site and called the 416-628-9766 - told the guy I received a call and he transfered me to Sean. Got the same speech as everyone else. I confirmed some information with him (for my CRTC complaint), told him that I had read about this number, I did not fill out a "coupon" (and even if I did, I have never put my home number on anything I fill out) and that I was one click away from submitting a complaint to the CRTC. He said "no worries, no need to get your prize, it doesn't matter to me". I submitted the complaint, called back and asked the guy to put me on their do not call list - we'll see what happens. The guy was nice about it - was not rude to me at all.

We received a call today from this number too.  The guy claims that we filled out a coupon at Walmart and we've won a prize.  We knew it was a scam and declined it.  He then went on to say that it is the Canadian Law that we must pay $500 if we do not claim.   We pay nothing if we claim.   Is he really thinking that we're idiots?   There would never be such a law in any country.  

We hung up the phone after.

This guy called six consecutive times even after telling him I wasn't interested. He told me that we had entered a contest and won, and we had to come down to a shady sounding location to claim the prize. He even got aggressive when I tried to hang up, how outrageous!!

i got a call from this same 905-366-7259  & the same thing tht i 've filled out a ballot from which i 'm winning 1 out of the 5 prizes ..i was shocked for a while but i realized may be my spouse filled out that ballot last christmas...BUT WHEN THEY GAVE MY THEIR ADDRESS & THAN I WENT DOWN THEIR WITH MY WIFE i had a very nice time ...even the served a good buffet as well ... I DON't understand WHY U ALL ARE SAYING wrong about them.. & in the end i would wanna say I GOT A PRIZE AS WELL WHICH WAS alaskan cruise trippp for two including meals but no AIRFARE.. BUT I AM HAPPY BECAuse all they said to me on the fone WAS TRUTH...

I received a call from this guy who is well described earlier in this discussion thread.  I quickly recognized were the call was going and said "not interested" and hung up.  He actually called back, blocking the caller ID, and said "did you hang up on me [***]" which I responded with ... hanging up again.

Guy with heavy East Indian accent keeps calling my home after repeatedly being told not to call anymore.  Contacting the Police to file charges (via call Trace) and also, filed complaint with CRTC:

They will investigate.  Perhaps a few fines will put these guys out of business.

this guys calls all the time. He sounds Indian. I told him i didnt want it and he goes OOOOOOO your making a mistake. So I started to get angry and he starts giving ME attitude and says he's not stupid and gave me a lame phrase, I was born in the morning, but not this morning. Rofl I had difficulty trying not to laugh. TOld him to F*** off

Everyday I receive phone calls from this number. Left no messages.

I was called from 905-366-7259 and informed that I had won one of five prizes by a man with a heavy accent.  When I told him I wasn't interested and not to call back he proceeded to refer to me in a few obscene names and upon this i asked to speak to his manager. He became even more argumentative and refused to let me talk to his manger at first then handed the phone over reluctantly.  His manager came on and asked what the problem was which I proceeded to tell him.  He then made the employee apologize insincerely and then they both started screaming obscenities to me.  I told them i was going to chat with Bell Canada about their conduct and hung up.

Same experience pretty much.The messages they left are obscene. I intened to notify the police.

Some guy called saying he was from 'The Canadian Centre'.  I said I was on the do not call list and hung up.  He phoned back and demanded an apology!  I hung up again.

I just called this number and promptly asked for the supervisor.  I received "David Shawn".    

"Mark Eaton" had called my number at 8:45 this evening.   He asked me about filling out a ballot and I said, "Sir, I am not interested.  You're reading from a script which tells me this is a scam..."   After saying this, "Mark" calls me a crazy woman and tells me that if I don't give him my information, he'll come to my address and find it out himself."   I explained all of this to the "Supervisor" and was told that he would be dealing with this gentleman and would not call my house again because he understands that I am not interested...  Whether or not, just tell them that you are under 25 and they'll leave you alone... you have to be over 30! LOL

I got a call from this guy today.  Said I filled out a form and he had a winner a winning coupon for a TV for me.  Said all he needed was my address and he would mail it.  Said I filled out some kind of form in July. He then asked me if I was 30-39, I said no, he then said "fk off" and hung up.  I couldn't dial the number back because it said it was out of service.

I've been getting missed calls from this number and they finally got me at home today.
The guy had a thick accent and I could barely hear him. He called to say that I filled out a coupon and I have won a guaranteed prize. I had to come pick it up at the Vacation Store 216 Chrislea Road Woodbridge. Office on second flr #202. Nearest intersection is Hwy 7 and Weston Rd.
The guy assured me there is no catch. And that I am not obligated to buy anything. Then he passed me onto his manager. The name of the Senior Manager was Johnson. He also said that there is guaranteed to be no sales pitch.
He explained that there will be a max 90 mins gifting ceremony. It will take place in 3 sessions but will not take longer than 90 mins. The ceremony includes a buffet dinner.

The 5 potential prizes of which I will receive only 1 are:
$1000 cash prize
52” Toshiba HDTV
1 Caribbean /Alaskan cruise includes airfare
1 week for a couple to Cancun Mexico/Florida
1 week for a couple to Hilton Head South Carolina includes $500 green fees
    

He wants to confirm an appointment with me either Today/Thursday for 7pm. I told him that I'm not sure and want to check with my husband. So he asked me to call him back at 416-628-9766 ext 2424.
Then at that time he will give me a claim Package # to get my prize.

Thank goodness for all your posts warning me about this. I will not be calling him back. I had a suspicion that it would be a timeshare scheme but you guys just confirmed this. Thank you all for sharing your experience.

THE GUY OR GUYS CALLING FROM THIS NUMBER IS REALLY PERSISTENT. AVOID HIM AT ANY COST. HE'LL KEEP CALLING AND CALLING UNTIL YOU BOTH GET FED UP. IF I WERE YOU OR ANYONE RECEIVING A CALL FROM HIM, JUST NOTIFY THE POLICE.
