Called my cell phone and when I saw the international number.....I didn't answer.
It would be nice if these people would get a REAL job!

Anytime I get calls from an out of state number I answer in Spanish. If it's no one I know I keep going in Spanish. Totally throws them off.  This one kept telling me I could get $7000 for school before they realized I wasn't speaking English.

I hope these idiots are having fun wasting their time calling people who don't anwer their phones!!

It might be At&t then because I am getting the same phone calls and $7000 grant bs and I as well have At&t

I keep getting calls from this number and then when I answer, they hang up.

Didn't answer the three calls I got from this number, but from the numerous posts it is obviously best to ignore them. My husband and I just upgraded our AT&T phones and signed up for UVerse just last week... anyone else? I wouldn't put it past AT&T to sell the numbers.

I got the exact phone call twice today. I hope this stops soon, it's already annoying!

I got phone call from this #916234434520 with person has an big accent telling me I choised bt goverment free money$7000.00 she verfy my info and wants any cc# or checking acct or saving and gave me confermation # and another number to call DC to get the money

I just got a call from this number. I didn't pick up b/c about an hr or so before I got a call from another scam number! I'm waiting for calls for an interview. This is really unnerving.

i just got this call right now it sounded like an idian guy. he said i recieved grant money of 7000 dollars. DONT DO IT!! he wanted my account number !

I just got a call from this number today and they told me the same things. I actually thought it was true because I just dropped my classes and owe about 14K...

Received a call twice to my cell phone. The first time I received the call I didnt answer and checked the number online. It seemed to be solicitation or some fraud ring. Second time, I answered and I asked what it is regarding and they hung up. Noise in background. Some time of fraud or telemarketing call.

Have been getting a call from this number for about a week!  It won't ring but 3 - 4 times then it hangs up.
They called me yesterday about 10 times.  My phone shows it is coming from India!  What can we do to stop this?

I got a call from an Indian woman from this number claiming that my name and phone number had been randomly selected by the government for a $7,000 grant because I filed for bankruptcy. I responded, "I haven't filed for bankruptcy. She responded, "are you sure?" to which I said, "positive." She abruptly hung up the phone. An obvious scam.

they keep calling me and saying the same thing, plus i get call from a 3 digit number also.

I'm recieving calls from this number everyday. They are telling me that I'm to recieve a $7000 US government grant and that I had to take it or go to jail for 6 months. Of course, he needs my bank account number to send the money. Fat chance on that.

I received a call from this number. They already had most of my information, a bit scary, but not all that surprising in this day of technology...the amount of the "government grant" was also $7000, only to be used for "good" purposes, such as education, home improvement, paying medical bills, purchase of a car" and could not use for illegal purposes, gambling, drugs, alcohol, etc ...they gave me a call-back number of 202-609-7027, which was quoted as a government confirmation number and the name of the "Officer" was (?SP) Rachid Ochad...a transfer would be made from the Federal Bank of New York, and the Officer's name was Wayne Bruce & gave me a confirmation number to repeat when I called. When calling the number, there was no answer. Then the number called me back, saying they missed a call from me. After "confirming' the grant, they said there would be a one time processing fee of $120, that all the grant recipients who had applied for these grants had already paid. When I told him I did not have $120, he said "that's ok, you can reject the offer." I said "ok, I reject the offer" & hung up.
Hmmmm, Wayne Bruce...sounds like a backwards Batman...too bad we don't have money handed out to us on a regular basis! Oh, we need to work for money...that's right! (Sorry for the sarcasm)

Someone just called my cell phone from that same number.  I did not answer it, as there were too many numbers and I did not recognize where the call was coming from.  No message was left for me on voicemail.  This is not the first time I have received such a call.
