The same just happened to me. First a Micheal White called my phone three times and when I called back a Ronnie Cooper answered stating that he was an attorney calling on behalf of CashAdvance America about a loan that I owed for $810.00 and if I didn't pay today then I would be arrested at my job tomorrow morning.

Same here.  Got two so far.  As of this date, they are still in operation.

This is a scam!!  A man called my daughter (19 yrs old) informing her that a loan in the amount of $300.00 was taken out in her name in December and now it was up to $699.99.  If she did not pay immediately he was going to send the FBI and police to her job.  So I grabbed the phone and I said " so you are going to send the FBI and police for $300.00"? (which i knew was a lie the whole time) His response was "Yes mam, if you do not pay this amount right away, I will send them to arrest her and you will see what I am going to do to your daughter"   I am sorry but I took that as a threat, and they are going to be sorry they ever called her.

Extortionist wanting money.

I don’t condone his actions as I too have been contacted by this company. However, making racial comments about the man is completely unnecessary. [***] Middle Eastern S.O.B? It’s clear who the real ignorant S.O.B. is. I have no sympathy for you.

I got the same message two days in a row 4:30 and 3:30 in the morning.

I work for a Bankruptcy law office and one of our clients called saying she's being harrassed by this number multiple times daily so I called on behalf of our client, stating who I was and what law office I worked for. The response that I received back was filthy sexual comments to which I said I will report this. The man on the phone continued to say these things to me so I hung up.

I got a call and was tald that i will be arrested if I didnt pay $505.00

I missed a call from this number today. Watson left a rude voicemail and told me to have my attorney call him so I won't be arrested. Loan, shhhh...never taken out a payday loan!

I have experienced the same problem this week.  After the fourth call today, I told the man if someone was suing me, I would wait for the legal document to come in the mail...I would not take the phone number he kept telling me to write down.  I also told him if his lawyer boss wants to talk with me he can call me.  I then told him if he calls again, after 3 other calls, I would report them to the Attorney General and also my lawyer would call them....I guess it worked I have had not had another call today.  But I will be sure to keep an eye on my bank account and close it as soon as I can.  And reopen a new one.  Good luck to all who are having this problem.  I am glad I googled this number.

I got this number 916-287-3815 and at least 6 other #s that have called and I cut them short asking to be removed from the calling list.I did call the 1st number back and got the same scammer Ronnie middle eastern voice telling me the same thing he was with the US Government trying to collect 800.00 for a loan I never took out. I had him mad very quickly as i kept asking questions and he changed up his story about who he worked for and i laughed at him he cussed me out and said I would be arrested in the early am. I started taking all call from the other numbers to have Mr Ronnie on the other line as someone else.. I am on the phone all day and I know voices it was him and when I said Hey Ronnie he hung up.

Big Scam and finding this here and seeing it over 4 months old tells me are tax dollars are not working for us very well..Of course I knew that all ready I just feel for older people they scare into this...

i received the same call saying he was a debt collector and if i don't pay $ 300 i was going to be arrested at my employers job tomorrow. he wouldn't say his name he got very angry with me. when i called to get more info he would keep hanging up. so i called the place that i received the loan from and said they don't have a complaint against me. But one thing he said that stuck out is he was going to have a officer arrest me at m.y employers office when i don't work. i want this man arrested

Just got a call from a man with an India accent that stated he was going to have the sherriffs come and arrest me if I didnt pay back a payday loan from Cash Advance America.  There was three charge pending against me.  I don't even PayDay loans.  He is CRAZY!!!!!

Threatening phone calls from this person telling me to call Ronnie Cooper or I will be arrested.  Can't something be done to these people?  I mean really.

Got a call today from this 916-287-3815 saying he was an attorney that I had 3 charges against me from Cash Advance America for payday loan which I don't have and started telling me I would be arrested in the morning. I told him I will be waiting on him that I would stomp his hind end when he got there. Then started talking about 8" that I should be alone when he comes. I think the guy is a [***] Mr. Cooper. Ain't it funny how these people not from here got American names?

Received a call from this number on 3/28/2013. A threatening message was left on my voice mail and I called back to let this idiot know I'm not a pushover. The calls have stopped, but I went ahead and changed all of my account info.

Now it's my goal to remember this punk.... harass him for a while. CALL 916-387-3815 and give this idiot a taste of his own!!! Also report this number to your local authorities if they have tried to scam you.

This person calling him self Mr. Cooper/Mr. Anderson explained that I had a law suit against me and that I had to call a number with a case number and they would explain it to me. Upon calling the same guy answered the phone and told me that I was going to be arrested for loans that I have taken out. He and his other friends called my house like 40 times in regards to this matter. I have no loan nor do owe any debt and when I called back he hangs up on me! How stupid does he think we are... one if there is a law suit against anyone you will have an officer come to your house with paperwork stating what you are being sued for, not called! Two he needs to know that lawyers will not call the plaintiff and harass them. I gave it to him and called him everything in the book too just to make me feel better for him thinking I was so stupid to listen to his crap. Hope one falls for this stupidity!

I received 4 calls from a so call attourney he left 2 messages stating that it was an urgent matter. I called back and he was super rude and told me that i was going to be arrested for non payment af a loan for $500 that I've never even apply for and most importantly I've never received. He said the police would arrest me by the next day if i did not make a payment in full.

I got the same call from this number. Who ever the individual was gave a social security number to the person who answered the phone several time after the person informed the that they was not me. They even threaten legal action against me.Who is running this scam?

I've gotten the same " formatted"  threatening calls,  that he feels sorry for me if me or my attorney didn't contact him immediately. My advice to everyone is to take an aggressive tact. I called him back and when he answered the phone I said " who is this"  in an aggressive tone.  he answered " John  Smith  attorney"  well on his voicemail he said he was Mark Davis.  so again,  with an elevated and angry tone I said " oh,  so now your John Smith and not mark Davis anymore?  why the hell are u calling me"  silence for ten  seconds, I yelled " hero"  and heard him hang up. I never identified myself.  it's some sort of scam. I looked into pay day loans prior to these calls so I'm guessing he's in the loop or hacking legit business call lists.  don't give him a chance to talk down to or scare you.  he's an idiot.
