TOTAL SCAM! TOTAL SCAM!! They have been calling me for weeks now everything that everyone else has posted is the exact same thing that happened to me except he told me to call each day at 7:30am until I can make a 41500 cash deposit..They called my job and everything, and took money from my account the fact that I have to CHANGE everything right now is beyond irritating.. This should be against the law and stopped immediatley, had I NOT read ALL the other comments Im not sure what trouble I would be in right now...

I received a call from this number on yesterday.  The man said his name was James and he said that there were 3 counts against me and a warrant for my arrest because I had taken out a payday loan for Cash Advance.  After I told him that I did not take out a loan he then said that he would have the police to come to my job within 48 hours to arrest me.  My best friend is the assistant District Attorney where I live so I ad him to call and when he called and told the man who he was the man hung up.  My friend then tried to call back 2 more times but the man would not answer for him.  Later that day the man called my job, I then called him back and he said I have already spoken with you my dear.  I then called my friend and we called the man on 3 way because he would not answer calls from my friend.  M6y friend explained to the man again that he was the Asst. District Attorney and the man told my friend he would have to speak to his attorney after my friend asked him for the information the man responded with "suck my di** please sir"  My friend has submitted the number and the voicemail to be traced.

How did they take money from your account?

I have been getting calls from this number several times a day. Usually while I'm at work and he was calling my cell phone which I did not answer. I finally answered today and was told that there was a warrant on my name and SS#. I asked him what he was talking about as his accent was very heavy and I had a hard time understanding him. He told me that I had to call and speak with a "Ronnie Cooper" gave me the same exact number that he called me from. So I didn't call it. He called me back about 20mins later and started the same spiel again. I then told him that he gave me the number he calls from and asked why he couldn't just transfer me. He said to call back and ask for extension 121. Ok, so I did...I call back and I'm pretty sure the same guy answered. And he just says. "Can I help you" or something vey vague like that when he answered the phone. I said I need ext 121. He says, this is it..I then say I've been told to speak to "Ronnie Cooper" and all he said was this is "someone Anderson" what is your name...I gave him my name...and he then was like...this is blah blah from the California Attorneys office..you have 3 cases against your name and SS#...I was like..ok..well then what are they? He mumbled through some stuff..all I really heard was fraud. His accent was heavy as well...Oh and I was told NOT to interrupt him while he was reading my "charges". So when he was done mumbling though..I asked how much was this for..he then tells me that with all the charges it's $889. I then asked, who is the company? He said Cash Advance America...and then he is just silent...I said well show me some papers then. I said it sounds like you are reading from a script and I that I can't believe what he is telling me...he then says.."you will believe me when the FBI and police come and arrest you and put you in jail" and then I said " well now you are threatening me and I can report for you that" he then told me to go "F**k myself...which I just hung up....I've tried calling back and he doesn't answer..I also had my boyfriend call and act like he was returning a call for them which the guy just hung up on him. So total scam...And REALLY if you believe someone with a middle eastern accent that has an American name...then you are already in trouble. Total scam..but I do wish he'd answer the phone again cause I would really like to piss him off..lol

This is totally crazy weve gotten the same calls and the same "3charges of fraud".He said he had to fax us some paperwork and when i told him to email me his response was"we already did"i informed him we didnt recieve anything to resend it and he said"im not resending anything"so i told him stop calling my phone.I was then told that he was on other line calling the police and FBI and we would be getting a visit from them very soon to lock us up for fraud!Weve called the number back several times and its just one beep then disconnected call...WTF!!!

this person called and said that we owe them money but i dont think we do? im not giving any money to no one unless we reseave a receit and they said we dont get one unless its paid in full the last time this happend we never reseived a receite and we never heard from them agian but we also had stoped the paiments what do we do?

HI I have gotten these calls, My bank told me to call the police, and I did unfortunately they can not do anything right now.  When the guy called back I told them I was reporting them to the police for harassment and I hung up the guy called me back and called me a mother______ asked me who I was to threaten him.  I hung up, they called back and my husband answered the phone, told the man to stop calling it is harassment and the caller stated "you want harassment I will call you thousands of times."  Police said do not answer their calls,  I got a message on my voicemail today that if I ignore them then he all he can say is good luck to you.....   With the way things happen in this world it is scary when people call your home you do not know and speak to you in such a way....

I have been recieving calls from this number an it is an asion guy that is very rude an says he is from the attorney generals office an states that I have gotten a payday loan an I have never in my life gotten a payday loan I wish we could find out who this person is an have him stopped

I received a call 3 times today from a pakastian claiming thatr I have charges pending against me for a loan default in California. I tried several times to talk to the fool and he tells me how would I like it if he slapped I said come on fool i'll slap your face back and rip out your dam throat you dam scammer. I don't live in California /. but he hung up after that. said his name was Ronnie cooper

Received a call from this number; they left a voicemail saying if I do not return the call something bad will happen to me. I was freaked out until I looked this number up online! Please go and report it so we can get these jerks once and for all! Scam artists are the worst kind of people!

Received a call at work from someone unnamed asking if I had a lawyer present. Said there were "3 lawsuits filed against me" and that I needed to call the number back and ask from "Ronny Cooper". When I called the number back (I can't understand the name of the business they are supposed to be operating as, but it's "Federal" something) I was trasferred to Mr. Cooper who read me the "affidavit" and said that I could make a payment of $505 to rectify the situation or else the sheriff would be at my work tomorrow to arrest me. I asked who the company was that supposedly deposited and he said "Cash Advance USA". I told him that the company name did not sound familiar and asked what the original deposit amount was... he told me $300 but they added a return fees and other fees. I asked what the date was the the original deposit was made and he said "That's not important"... I told him that if I was going to "be arrested" for not paying a loan, it would be easy and necessary to know when the original loan was issued... he got very frustrated with my questions and then said that if I didn't want to pay "the sheriff and FBI" would be at my work tomorrow to arrest me. I told him that the FBI doesn't concern themselves with this kind of stuff and let him know that they DO concern themselves with interstate fraud... told him that I had his fake name and phone number and I would be contacting the police with his information so we could both have a sit down... then he hung up.

Just received a call from 916-287-3815. The caller had an indian accent and it sounded pre-recorded. I'm suppose to call an atty at 818-337-1293 and ask to speak to carl hooper. Something to do with Financial Crime Investigation or I will be arrested. WTH ! These people are a pain and it's annoying having them call nonstop from 7am until late in the evening. I inquired about a pay day loan but never accepted, received or electronically signed for any amount. Their interest rates are 300%  and higher 700-800%. This is crazy. All the calls I have received are from people with an indian accent. Some have been very rude. I text the last caller and told them that I had contacted the Police, FCC and the ATTY -General. This seems to have helped, the phone hasn't rung in over an hour. I need to check my account because with the information they have they can open bogus accts with Liberty Card Company and slowly drain your account. These people are Evil !

Good for you Lindsey ! These people need to held accountable for their threats and the continuous harassment with the non-stop phone calls. Keep all your Bank Statements, I do and none show any type of deposit. These people deal in Fraud and Financial Scams. Good Luck it sounds like you called their bluff.

I have received two calls from this number and i cant undersyand wjat they are saying ing the voicemail they are leaving and i dont have a clue as to why they are calling me in the first place. I would like to know who it is and the reason for their calls.
