I got a call from this number, 918066055000, after an Amazon purchase so I contacted Amazon about it and Amazon confirmed it was a legitimate call.

Didn’t anything happen after that?

This in all probability is a scam! He called me I wanted me to confirm the recent order; I refused because I wouldn't believe him.

Purchased electronic item via Amazon Australia online. Almost immediately was phoned by a female with an Indian accent wanting to confirm that I had made the recent purchase.  I confirmed so, though thinking that it was unusual, led me to this site.  Also, after calling Amazon regarding this, they confirmed it was not them, and suggested to change account security as a precaution.  Their fraud team will investigate and report. Scammers are prevalent it seems.  Hopefully with more reports, they can be found and prosecuted.

Some of Amazon employees sharing information with scammers. Instead of this forum we need to report this situation to Amazon security team and FBI. I get multiple calls from this number from Bangladesh

Hi this just happened to me so I followed up with the real Amazon service number. It is a scam. Do not answer.

This number called several times and then left a message saying I needed to verify info. I followed up by calling the real Amazon service number. It is a scam. Do not answer.

Indentify this number

I have the address of this company if anybody wants to mail them poop. They forgot to block their number information when they called, and I was gifted their exact location. It is “Orion Building (GF, 8, 9, 10, 11th floor), Bagmane constellation business park, outer ring road, HBR layout 4th block, mahadevapura, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560048, India.”

This is a scam. I fell for it!
