This is a scam. One time i did answer & told her i was at work . She said ok we will call sat at 6pm, never happened. Checked with several of my colleagues & they have not been contacted about the "additional services available" they can provide.

I have had them call me at work wanting me to answer several questions, when I asked the (lady?) how long it would take she said 20 minutes, Like I have 20 minutes to spend at work answering questions for someone I don't know, figures this started the day after I could no longer change health care providers, this company is garbage if it is in deed United Health Care, There getting close to harassment by calling me at work (3 times now) Stay away from them, get health care somewhere else !!!!!!!

I confirm that this is United Healthcare's 24/7 nurse line.  It is the number that they will return calls from, not the number that you initially called.  I had called their 24/7 line and had to hang up on the very rude nurse getting in to my personal medical business and lecturing me on my condition, when it wasn't even what I called about in the first place.  She attempted to call me back twice after I hung up and this is the number she called from. 952-367-8000

This is not a scam, this is wellness coaches calling you. I receive these calls every 2 weeks. I am the one who sets these calls up and it allows me to earn money on my health accounts which helps me pay for co-pays and other medical expenses. The only reason they as you to verify your address and DOB is to make sure you are the right one getting credit and they do not discuss your medical stuff with someone else.

i called it back and said it was untied health care call number on back of card, so i did and they had no record of any one calling me, also united does not have my cell phone number after i checked with them so beaware.

It was United Health Care. Safe to answer.

This is a legit number for United Health Care/Optum.  They are the nurses who handled my company's well baby program.

I received a call from this number and the woman said she was from UHC and they started asking me all kinds of questions about my medical conditions and to "confirm" my address and date of birth. After answering a few questions, I told her that, if she worked for UHC, she should have this information. In fact, the ONLY information they provided was the date I had been released from the hospital. They knew nothing else. She told me she worked for a "special division" of UHC and that they were required to keep separate records because not all of the information was supposed to be in their system. I told her, if that's the case, she shouldn't be asking. I hung up.

Didn't know the 952-367-8000 number, so didn't answer. There was a message but it sounded like a recording. I didn't call back and after reading all of these comments I'm not going to. Number was blocked.

Thanks for going into such detail.  I was going to post myself because I have this service & the nurses in this program are highly skilled and knowledgeable not to mention extremely professional.

This is from United Health Care who you have your insurance through and not a sales call. Some calls are from a health coach or from a nurse if you have signed up for this service through your insurance plan.

I received a call from this number as well.   I contacted United Healthcare to determine if they are legit or not.  They are not legit.  Any callers from UHC would be able to provide a claim reference number.  The 9523678000 number is likely a Phishing scam.

They ask that to verify they have the right number so they don't give their services for free, this is the UHC # if you have UHC its literally on the back of your insurance card that this is their nurse hotline #.

Thank you for the information.  I called back once and the person who answered didn't know what I was talking about. Six months later I called back again and set up an apt time with a care nurse with united. P

No name and no company identification.  This is a professional drs office and this will not be tolerated

I am a UHG employee and just received this unsolicited call. I believe it is probably legit, but they have absolute no business whatsoever initiating these calls, and beyond no business calling me then asking for personally identifying information.

Just got a call from them claiming to be UHC and when I said I'm not giving them my address because I have no proof that they are who they say they are, and is there some info they can email me, she claimed I had no email address on file (BS, as we get emails from UHC all the time). Then she said "after you give me your address, I can tell you your [ID/group numbers]," at which point I hung up. Anyone could pick up a dropped health insurance card and find that info.
