Got a call from 971-208-9984 on Fri July 13, 2012 at 13:51 hrs.  I said "hello" but there was no one at the other end.  Then the caller (or device) hung up.  I got a call from the same number last week.  I'm in the 613 area code, eastern Ontario, Canada.  I find these calls highly irritating.

Unkown call from 971-208-9984---I am on the do not call list and I get a call at least twice a week

Received a call from this number about 10 minutes ago.  I guess it's a solicitor.  I didn't answer.  I only accept personal calls.

Just called me within the last couple minutes.  No voicemail.  I am on the DNC list as well.  Texas here also...

I wonder if the phone companies realize how much they could make, if they charged us $5/mo to filter out all calls that are *not* on a list we could create ourselves.  Not on the list?  Not going to ring!

I'd sure pay $5/mo for that!

Leave your phone company and use a VOIP instead.

They called me this morning here in Saskatchewan.  My mom answered and told them that I wasn't home but she asked what the call was about.  They said that they wanted to talk to me about continuing education but when she pushed for more information, they said that they had to talk to me directly.  

I hoped that would be the end of it but they called a few minutes ago.  Didn't get to the phone in time and they left no message.

Just receievd a call here. LFG on caller ID 971-208-9984, they did not leave a message on the machine. I am in the north Texas area. My number is also on the DO NOT CALL list. Ridiculous!

Work for a manufacturing company in Cambridge Ontario and this number has called us 3 times today so far on different lines.  There is never any response from the other end.

i didn't answer either. they have come east, am in Delaware. have Verizon digital & i can block up to 10 #s but it's full up from these a**holes from a month ago.

i have found that if you Don't answer, they do go away, eventually.

t is a scam.  They ask you for your political opinion and then say you won a vacation to bahamas and ask you to pay upfront for tax and gratuity....     And I don't believe they have anything to do at all with lincoln financial groupI

Just got this call at home, did not answer.

Got this on the phone (business line).  They hung up when I answered.

I get calls from this number on a daily basis, no message left, and it is getting to be a pain !!

Didn't answer this unsolicited, unwanted call from I don't know who.  I am on no-call list so do not understand why so many calls are coming in the last few months from Card Services and other 800 numbers that never leave messages.
