Got a call too. Called back and voicemail said they could not answer.

Same call on Saturday...but it was right after I filled out an offer for two free Southwest tickets that I got in email...yes, I took the bait.

The  caller number  is from Salem, OR.  When tried call back, it had a message that number is temporarily unavailable.

I just answered a call from this phone number.  It is a recorded political survey...same as all the others...if you complete survey, you are eligible for a 'free' [haha] 2-day cruise.  It does allow you to press '9' to opt out and remove your phone number from their database.  However, we all know that is a joke because the same company calls both my home phone and my cell phone daily from many different phone numbers.  I think I 'opt out' 3-5 times per day and this is only when I actually answer!  Just a few weeks ago, I asked one of the million charities that call daily asking for donations to please remove my phone number as I only give to certain charities, hence they were wasting time calling me.  When returning from a 2-week vacation to Europe this week, I had the same phone number on  my caller ID several times!  Being on the DNC list is a waste of time.  I had to forward my cell phone calls to my home phone number while out of the country because they call constantly.  I think having a listed home phone number increases these calls as well as having had the same cell phone number for over 15-years.  Another mistake that increases the calls is I use to give to some of the organizations asking for donations as it was often the State Police and Fire-Fighters, which are worthy causes.  Don't do it because I now get calls from every states' police & fire departments!  We have no privacy anymore...period!

Just received a phone call from this number. No answer on the other side, just dead air. They call often, a few times a week at least. Caller ID just shows Oregon

Got a call yesterday from this 971 number on my cell phone.  I think my husband answered it, but he hung up without saying anything so I guessed it was one of those annoying survey calls that are going around.  We get calls from 360-474-3950 also.  Never a message and thats ok, I don't care to hear what they have to say anyway :)

There's no .org website operating TODAY with that name. there is a .com with it

Got a call on my CELL PHONE from this number and no one answered.  Tried to call back and always got a message that the line was temporarily busy.   These jerks call you at YOUR EXPENSE?   They ought to be put out of business.

I got a call when I am talking to my brother. I immediately filed a compaint to FCC (donotcall.gov). I want all these survey companies and telemarketers to know that they are causing our phone bills to go up because of their unneccessary calls to people. They cause annoyance and cause anger to peole like me and makes my blood pressure  to rise up.

I am getting call from this number once or twice in a week.

The callers are nothing but a bunch of scam artists who do not answer the calls that they make, and they do not leave a voicemail. If you report the number to the no-call registry, they still call you. It doesn't matter what you do, they still call. Someone needs to catch up with these [***] and make them pay for their harassment calls.

Alex - I just happen to belong to one TLA (three-letter anagram) group that took the letters (long before the web) that it happens to share with about 25 others.

I also belong to two four-letter groups where members of one are upset that they took the four from the other, just by registering first - don't look for TLAs, you'll find hundreds, ranging from companies to computer commands.

I have also received a call from 971-208-9984 this company, however when you look up the company and look for phone numbers you cannot find any POC numbers listed on their website? (strange) Lincoln Financial Group ATTN: Special Investigation Unit Coordinator 7C01, 1300 South Clinton Street,  Fort Wayne, IN 46802. However on the phone listing it seems to come from Oregon? think it is a scam

Umm, wtf, this number? Tried calling me 20 minutes ago on 7/14/12. crazy.
