- AnnThese people are awful. They called on June 8th because i was 5 days late. I told them I had to put a new motor in my vehicle and I wouldn't be able to pay until 6/24, the lady said she would make note in the computer that I will pay on the 24th. On June 14th I get another call and tell the lady the same thing and she said she would make note in computer. Then on June 16th I get ANOTHER call and at work. She identified who she was and I said, "How many times are you people going to call me?" I told her that I had spoken to someone on the 8th and also on the 14th and told her the same thing I told the others. I also told her that they were calling me on my work phone and if they wanted there money they had better not call me at that number or I would be fired. She comes back and says, "We have no record of calling you and discussing this with you on any dates." I said, "Well it's not my problem you guys can't do your jobs right." and hung up. This is so harassing and they call my cell phone every 15 minutes from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and of course never leave a message. It makes me sick to know that I have 3 more years with these people. Oh and did I mention that one time they called my friend who I listed as a reference and told her that I was late on my payment and they needed money....I am pretty sure it is illegal for them to discuss my account status with anyone!

- Frustrated 501| 2 repliestried to reach this people over and over sometimes only a recording and they never leave a message faxed over paperwork twice to them for an amendment first one they never got took forever to reach them fax no answer or busy and had to dig for another fax number from a customer service rep. I guess they dont want their money. Yes they call from 214 and 972 area codes they actually repossesed my car and i had to pay an extra 400 bucks i have no job and its been rough. Several customer service reps told me I couldnt get any help only one offered to tell me about the amendment request. I think they need a new system in place! they should leave a msg once in a while idiots...

- Nanthey are nerve recking. I hate that CitiFinancial sold my auto loan to Santander!!! If I finance a car it will not be with a lender that loves to sell loans. CitiFinancial made their money off of me and I was never late with a payment. I had my loan with them for 3 1/2 years and now I am with Santander. This is what I get for being a loyal customer. Wow!

We figure if it is someone who really wants to get ahold of us they can leave a voicemail. This company never leaves a voicemail. And everyone is right, they never put anything in their systems about any previous phone calls so you might as well not even bother talking to anyone. Adventually they will send you something by mail. We did an amendment with them and it took 3 weeks and 6 different people before they got it straight. What a bunch of idiots!

I have not heard from them in 2 MONTHS!!! I parked the car on the street and sent a certified letter the same day I told them to come get it. They can have it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am 1 month behind and have spoken to them on numerous occasions because they claim I am 3 months behind on my payments. Even after I sent them copies of the cancelled checks proving my payments, they refused to acknowledge that I am only 1 month behind. Recently made another payment so now I am current, and they STILL continue to call stating I am 3 months past due !!!!!!!!!!!! I am taking this to the Attorney General at this point ! They tried this with me before. WATCH OUT !!!!!!

- MelindaI have reported them to each and every local, state and federal government agency I could think of and they are investigating! They said they have numerous complaints about them and can actually shut them down for 'unethical policies'...I sure hope they do! I think we should all just pick one of their numerous numbers and start harassing them back, call 10, 15, 20 times a day...that would surely jack up their phone systems. Would make me feel better anyway! In this economy, people will be a little late now and again, where is the compassion. I'm only a couple weeks late, have had my vehicle for almost 4 years and this is the way I'm treated. My loan was also sold to these low lifes, I will not talk to these stooges either so they can keep on trying...doesn't bother me a bit really. I have all their numbers on block so they always go right to voice mail, they can call anytime they like! They are just a bunch idiots as far as I'm concerned...

SOME OF THE ABOVE I GET AT WORK AND ON MY CELL PHONE FIVE CALL PER NUMBER. I filed a complaint with the ftc yesterday. I realize a creditor must call when you are late but these people PUT NEW MEANING TO THE WORD PHONE CALL - RON replies to Tired of Santandar| 1 replySantander will not pick up the vehicle for at least 90 days so they can add $4.03 per day. That adds an additional $362.77 to the total and then there is the repossition fee etc. Then they can sell the car or should i say give it way (sell at a rediculos price) and put the balance against the customer. After that they will harrass you until finally the note will be sold to a collection agency.After 7 years will be sold to another collection agency and they start harassing you all over again.
I have gone through this with a 1995 ford through another finance company. They are all alike.
My 1995 bought it for $25,000. put $5,000.0 down and paid on for 3 years and the finance company sent me a bill for $25,000.00. - RON replies to ADTwifeYou know I think would be cheaper to deal with the Maffa.
- KK replies to FrustratedAnswer the phone the next time, make sure to follow FDCPA rules, look it up.....if you talk to them and they break the rules of the FDCPA, you can own your vehicle, without ever paying another payment again, however...make sure you get the callers name and CODE, they use to call you with. Also, they can not HOLD your title to your vehicle if it is under a certain amount and if you confront them on both their FDCPA violations and their unfair practices on the title, you will have NO problems.
