This is a scam.  Heavily accented man called and said he got me name from a payday loan I applied for.  He wanted my name and email address,  He then gave me a payday loan address, and some code to enter, (to which I think he would then have access too  my personal info) to log on.  I told him I was not interested and hung up.  IT just felt wrong.  He was very persistent and called me back four times.  He even had three of his other heavily accented brothers try to convience me to log onto this web site and fill out my information. NO WAY!!!!  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!  I tried calling the 973 number back and it just says our reps are busy.  I believe these calls are from India. Everyone I heard in the background had an accent and they all were saing different things, but trying to get personal information.  BE AWARE...... BE VERY AWARE!!!!!  DO NOT GIVE  THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION NO MATTER WHAT!!!!  YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF!!!!

SCAM!!!!!!  Do  not fall for anything from this number.  Lies all lies.  They just want access to your personal informatiom.  BELIEVE NOTHING THEY SAY.   SCAMMERS...SCAMMERS...SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!

I keep on getting calls from this # and no message is left

got a call saying I won a free trip to the bahamas but they didn't have my name and address.  They read to me some other address and I could not understand it fully because the guy was speaking very quicky in Hindi.  Then I got on and googled the number, found all this info on this site and told the guy I wasn't interested.  When he asked why I told him because I was reading about the number right then on the internet.  He quickly hung up.

Got a call from 973-735-5438 at 10:28 AM. I was busy and didn't answer. Got another call from this number at 12:04 PM. Missed the call. Called the number and got an automated message saying that the number was out of service. No voice mail. Phishy.

I have gotten three call this morning from the 9737355438 number.  I did not answer, hopeing that they would leave a message.  No message was left on the phone.  Then when you try to return the call it says that this number has been disconected or is no loner in service

i just received a call from this number, i get one every few days. It was a man named "jim" with a very heavy indian accent. (last time his name was "sam" but sounded exactly the same). I told him to stop calling me and he said he was not trying to sale me anything nor was it a telemarketing call, he said i had won a $200 gas card.... i hung up......

I was applying for an online quick loan. I got a call from this number offering me a line of credit. When I asked further questions, they hung up on me. How can so many different people use the same phone number??

I have also received a several calls from this number. Like so many other people out there I am also on the no call list however, these calls are not coming from a legitimate company and therefore do not follow the laws regarding the national no call registry.  Today I was given the "we are calling from Wal-Mart" line telling me I am the lucky winner of a nonexistent $400 gift card. All I have to do is give them my debit  card number so that they can deposit it into my checking account. I asked them to send me a check or the card in the mail to which they refused. The man assured me as long as I did not give him my 3 digit security number that he could not use it for any other purpose. lol
On a bright note some days I entertain myself by keeping them on the phone or transfer them back and forth from one phone to another. I ask them a million and one questions until they get irritated and hang up on me. It's not the justice they deserve but it makes me feel better and does not cost me a dime :)

called me twice today, an hr apart. i did not pick up. i think this was the same number that called me several weeks ago, also twice in one day. thanks all for reporting.

Got the call on 5/1/10 and it sounded like an indian guy from Applied Bank about a credit card offer or something

I began getting calls from this number at 6:05am also from 9737350021. I was actualy reading the responses here when they called again. The lady did answer when i picked up the phone and told me she was calling to give me information on grad schools (wich i was researching the day before). When asked about the number she was calling from she said that it was an internet phone and that if i called back it would not work. Of course i knew this already. I asked for a company address and or website and she said they didn't have one. I told her that i was not interested in the information she was giving and that the schools i was looking at would contact me with return numbers.

no idea who was calling but received a call from this number this morning, did not answer and they didn't leave a message.  Also received similar calls from other numbers, must be a scam using some sort of system with false caller id info.

Just got a call. They told me I won a $200 gas card, and kept asking me dumb questions so I hung up. Dont know who they are.

Been getting 4 calls from this number within the last 1/2 hour.  No one is ever there.

Got a couple calls from this number the last few days. I didn't answer since I didn't recognize it. The first time they left a voicemail that didn't say anything, just a few seconds of static and background noise. No voicemails after that.

i received a call from this # and when i cal it back it says no longer in service.i think they also have the # of 954-626-3186 because i get the same error message about not being in service
