Got a call from that number, I guess the new shtick is that you have a virus in your computer, and how does he know that "because Microsoft's server reported it to him" and he has many certifies Microsoft tech's working there. He will need some payment from you first.
Called the FBI after local police said there is nothing they can do about it. I asked that scum bag about why his number is showing on this list he was very interested in the number and said it was not his number,,,,, right. FBI said he is probably not even in the USA, what they do is buy a number in some city and they forward calls through it, so you think they are in the States. True snakes these scum bags. But I think this number will be disconnected because I asked him about it.

The caller identified himself as Silver Star or Silverstar, offering estimates on home improvement in my neighborhood.

I asked for the company's name, address & phone number. He gave me a name and an address in my city, only he mispronounced the name of the city. When I called him on that, he said he just moved here. When I asked him again for the phone number, he asked why I was asking, and I said to make a "Do not call" complaint. He said, "Oh good. I'm glad I gave you the wrong information."

At that point, I hung up.

I also get numerous calls from this number.
My plan..next time they call, I will answer with
the greeting, "Law Offices" or something else.
If they want to speak to me or whatever, I'll ask
them to hold and then turn on my blender or some
other obnoxious sound.  I'll keep you posted

got a call from 987-654-3210 was on the line and didn't answer the call and when i used redial it say's the number is not in service...strange !!!

Got this for the 2nd time at my office. They asked for the owner, I told him that he was not here and offered to take a message. He said this was a "courtesy call" (?) and that he would just call back next week. All our business lines are on the national do not call registry. Anyone know who the friendly folks at 9876543210 might be?

They just called me about some oil to help stop the ageing process started to ask questions about health and meds. I kept giving answers that indecated I didn't need the oil, he hung up on me. lol

This is a phising scam. I have received two calls from this number over the last couple of months. The caller says he is with Microsoft and has been receiving "error messages from your PC." He goes on to say that if I don't go to my computer right away and give him information from it, my hard drive will be corrupted and my computer destroyed. I hope no one out there is gullible enough to fall for this.

This number keeps calling from nine am to seven pm it has been calling my place up to six times a day. Please help me get this resolved. Thank you.

I got 3 unknown calls today and then finally one from 987-654-3210, on the other end was some jack@$$ who didn't speak english. I kept telling him I couldn't understand him. I could tell he ews getting frustrated he asked me if I was "me" I said why do you want to know and he said your computer keeps sending us these error messages. He said he needed me to go to my computer and turn out back on. I asked him when he got these messages and he said over the last couple of days. I said funny my computer hadn't ben on all week. Again he asked me to turn my computer on, I asked who he was with and what number I could call him back on, he said.... I don't have a number. I said really your dumb@$$ just called me. So anyway you have a great day. Haven't heard back from him.

I had the same thing happen to me a voice that was deep, that some what sounded electronic told me to just open the door and make it easier on both of us. I called the police and made a report. Someone was playing the worst joke they could have possibly played at the wrong time in my life, I had just been raped a month prior. I was terrorified, had nightmares. Because of this I moved to another state. When I googled the phone number it said it was a gun range in Virginia that had been shut down 5 years prior. I have a new number and now I have a new number calling me of 202-239-6000. I havent answered I called and it said what is the magic number. I hung up and googled it and found that it is a prank call number. I dont think I can go through this experience again.

I've gotten the same call, but because I've grown so used to telemarkers and their bull****it I purchased one of those "horn in a can" dealies from a party shop. So now I answer, blast the horn in to the reciever and hopefully break a few ear drums in the process. Oddly enough they never call back after that.

I just got a call from this number on my home phone. There was no one on the other end so I hung up.
