This number keeps calling and it was a Hindi language person. Called the operator and they told me this number doesn't exist.

They keep calling, and now there is no one on the other end? I wish it would stop!!!!

This number keeps on calling me, with some stupid Indian person on the other end. He talks so much crap!!!! a [***] indeed..

Claims to represent a call centre saying that my number was left with no name or address but that my "ballot" has been selected. It was left in a ballot box in an Ontario shopping mall.

I Just got a call from that number 9992997676 , and then when i ended the call, my screen on my phone stayed black and my red light stayed on (blackberry)....I had to take the battery out to restart my phone!! and it erased data...wtf?!

i got this number, but didn't pick it up.  thanks everyone for reporting it, because i probably would have picked up next time.

got the same call too...same message, same accent..keep on calling back but i didn't bother to answer.

This line called at 6:12 tonight. I could not hear clearly, but he said is this 299....(which it was). I immediately hung up.  then about 2 minutes later my message light was flashing and the message said " press 2 to record your message". I had not pressed anything other than hanging up.  I got to thinking about this so called Bell, and they told me that the number did not exist, and that I could send a note to competitionbureau.ca, but when I did, I didn't see anything to help with it.

just got a call from this number, didnt look before answering. it was an idian guy who mumbled and didnt give his name.
tol me i had won one of 4 prizes after putting my number on a ballot in a mall. i told him i did not recall doing this and he said maybe it was one of my friends using my number. without giving me a chance to respond he continued
he asked if i was over 30, which seems an odd age. i told him no, he asked if i was married or dating someone over thirty, i told him i was uninterested and as i was about to hang up he continues asking about my income, saying we only wants responsible people to have these 'free gifts'

obviously a scam, and a bad one at that.
either ignore the call or have some fun with the guy, but dont give out info.

The company is Impress International, in Ontario (ON).  Should be the first result you get, they are located on the address at 3395 American Drive in Mississauga.

He just called me (it's 11:25 PM, I know).  I asked him, "do you work in Mississauga?  And do you know it's illegal to call me this late in the evening after work hours? (which is true, telemarketers are not allowed to call you after 8 pm or something) I know you work at 3395 Mississauga.  Do you want me to go over there and find you, cuz I can.  If you dare call me again, I will report you to the police"

He was trying to interrupt me a few times, but in the end he said, "ok, I'm sorry" and hung up.

Let's hope it's the last call.  I'll keep you posted.

This idiot just called me and I could tell something was up so I told him to remove me from his call list and to leave me alone. He called back (wtf) and I told him I would pursue litigation if he did not cease and desist. He called back a third time. If he does not stop I will call to report him.

So annoying.

same thing. kept talking about something. when he 'transferred' me to his supervisor i hung up. called back 2 more times right away even though i didn't pick. left no mesages which is a plus.

This yahoo just called on my cell phone.  As I don't know anyone in the 999 area code, assuming one exits at all, I just let it go to voice mail, only no message was left.

Thought there was a law banning telemarketing to cell phones.

I just got the call from 1 999 299 7676 and was suspicious when he mentioned that I filled in a ballot with just my phone number.  I asked him where the ballot was filled in and he kept on mumbling about the prize.  I told him I was busy and I was not interested in winning any prize.  I went to try and locate the person or business and found this blog about this number.  It appears this guy have been busy calling everyone.

Yeah, just got the same call.  I hope he calls again.  I need a good laugh.  I'm going to say my name is Daisy Duke.  But seriously, there has to be a way to take this organization down.
