I got the call too. This guy keeps saying sth I don't understand. And he told me only phone number is there and no address. I say somebody must have made a mistake. I never do this before. Then he hangs up.

at 9:21 PM April 23,2008 1 999-299-7676 caled me, i hers a man say "hello", then the call cut off after a few seconds

Male with an East Indian accent calling to tell me that he was from a gifting company and that i had made some purchases and filled out a ballot and won.

He was going to gove me a code and an address where I could pick up the gift.  I said I wasnt interested and hung up.

This person called my phone twice the first number showed as 999-299-7676 and the second call was blocked.

Ok! So I also got a call from this number last night around 7:30pm and the guy told me his name was Adrian. He also told me I filled out a ballot and won 4 prizes. I asked him which mall and when and he said an Ontario shopping mall and around a month and 20 days ago. Anyways this guy asked me a million of questions and when i told him i was only 23 he said someone older had to claim the prize. I then told him I had to go cause I was getting ready to go play soccer and he said he would call me back later and i should find someone who could claim the prizes for me. Now I will not answer this number EVER again. The guy was trying to find out all this information about me. I will report this number if they call me again. Thanks everyone who wrote in!

some indian freak calls and talk nonsence pretending he's calling from national gifting centre.

I just got the call from 1 999 299 7676 and was suspicious when he mentioned that I filled in a ballot with just my phone number.  I asked him where the ballot was filled in and he kept on mumbling about the prize.  I told him I was busy and I was not interested in winning any prize.  I went to try and locate the person or business and found this blog about this number.  It appears this guy have been busy calling everyone. I think this is a kind of fraud. Police should catch this group.

He JUST called me! I feel like I've been had! I had him on the phone for 10 minutes trying to figure out wtf he was saying, he kept going on about winning either a Truck, A TV or a trip. Said the qualifications were that you have to be 27 yrs - 65yrs of age, and you have to be in a relationship. I told him I wasn't 27 and he said I was disqualified. If that idiot calls me one more time I think I'll have some fun...

Got a call from this thing, swore at me on the phone.

He called my cell about a month ago, I hardly understood a word he said.  He called about 5 times before i finally picked up.  Said he was looking for Sharese and that she had left this number when she applied for a car loan and I said no Sharese here.  He asked if I wanted the car, I said uhmmm no I'm happy with my Toyota.  He didn't call back til tonight but I didn't answer.  Probably working at a call centre in India.

Called my cell claiming to be from national Gifting Centre. Cut him off mid-sentence saying i wanted nothing he was selling and hungs up.

Got a call today (June 20, 2008) from a guy with a heavy south Asian accent who identified himself as "Mr. Joseph" or "Mr. Johnson" calling from the National Gifting Centre. Call display says 999.299.7676. Then the garbage about my number being on a ballot filled out during the holiday season and that I had been selected. He asked me to pick up my prize at Unit #1, 60 West Wilmot St. in Richmond Hill, Ontario. I then asked him to remove my number from whatever list he has and he got really agitated -- "I called you to offer you a prize! You think I am lying to you?" "What is in your mind?" I said, all I want you to do is not call me anymore and hung up on him. I called the number 999.299.7676 but a recording says "the call cannot be completed as dialed".

Ok... I am glad I found this post.  I did not know what to think.
This idiot has been calling me for the past 2 weeks.  Today he called again, told me that he loved me....  well, thank you guys a lot, having their address help a lot.  I just wish that something could be done about it to make them stop.

Yup! Got the freakin' call too...didn't know how to react, I went along with it 'till I got home and searched the net. I'm so glad you guys did so much research on this, you have no idea!!! It was the same guy, actually 2 guys (the other one was the "manager") and the "pick up place" is in Burlington, 2279 Fairview Street, Unit 2, L7R 2E3. And I think we have a new phone # 416-907-0430, but I wouldn't call as they will probably do the follow-up after that, if you know what I mean. Th guy kept saying something about Sundream Promotion, but I think I got about 60% of all that bs!
I've noticed this story dates since 2002 or maybe older, but I don't know why OPP didn't do anything about it! It' scary to know some crazy-ass punk-head has my number! I would bounce his head against a wall if I knew who he was!
If they're in Mississauga or Etobicoke, maybe I'll pay them a visit...and maybe someone should forward the link to this blog to OPP.

I just got the same call... same thing about 4 gifts blah blah blah. The only thing that surprised me is that he asked for my name cause I said this wasn't a good time and I told him, wouldn't you have that? and he said no. Ok, I said, it's susi (fake name) and to my surprise he kinda giggled! As if he knew it's fake... weird.

I just got a call from this guy. He asked me if this was my phone number. I'm like yah. He kept talking and I hung up.

An Indian man called, asked me to confirm my CELL PHONE number, and told me he's calling from Premium Club HD in Mississauga, and when I asked to speak to his manager because he's calling a cell phone he hung up on me. But by writting about it here, is really anything going to happen? Maybe everybody here should contact their local police.

I got a call from this number, but nobody talks on the other side. I just heard this weird noise, so I hung up the phone. And it just kept on calling over and over again, probably about 6, 7 times in 5 minutes. If i didnt answer, it automatically went to my voicemail, and when I check my mailbox, all i can hear was the same loud weird noise. what the hell is going on....
