If you get a call from here it's probably because you've contacted them either for a job or to do advertising for you. They, as mentioned above, do advertising and marketing. Most of their clients are in sports, hospitality, or service based industries. Thier office is located in the city centre of norwich, close to The Carphone Warehouse.

Literally avoid this at all costs!

Google SMS Marketing Scam Norwich or SRM Marketing scam Norwich and you'll find allsorts of stuff on it.

Basically they exploit people who really need work and get them to do door to door sales, even convicing them that they are working for the company but in fact they are made to sign a contract to declare themselves self employed! So therefore u end up getting sent to towns and villages all round norfolk and beyond and have to foot the charges yourself. Basically doing their dirty work for them and only getting paid in commission they work on a law of averages and I think they expect 1 sale in every 33 houses visited - so imagine how hard any sort of commission is to come by!

It all seems very good I know but these people are mostly all in depth and try to make themselves look rich to encourage people that they can work up to become managers if they make enough sales - in fact the form of marketing this is was outlawed in many states in america due to infringing slavery laws! I think you can find it it's called d max marketing or something like that maybe d tax not sure!

They accept everyone but what they'll do is make u think u may not get the job and then ring u a few hours later giving it to you - making you think wow i must have done well blah blah. Then they pull out various psychological gags to try and keep you interested and make you think it's really a good position. But it's the work of con artists - there are too many accounts against it for them to argue.

I bet if any of them comment they'll call me and others who complain weak minded and how we can't make sales and it is too hard for us balh blah but really it is impossible to do well in this position from what I've seen it takes people over and it runs them into the ground as you have to work 6 days a week from about 8am - 10 at night trudging round slowly spending all your money on transport and food etc, genuinely it is not even hard work it is futile - I attended a preliminary interview and smelt a rat and alo-and-behold I came across all the people online who this company has upset.

They should hang their heads in shame. Really. Exploiting people at such a low point in employment. I know it sounds good but you go to the interview - you'll see they speak fast because they hope you won't answer questions and you won't pick out too many of the facts from what they say - it's an old actor's trick. Then if you look at the contract you have to sign you'll see it makes you self-employed etc, however they dress it up and even if you like a challenge just think before you go.

Biggest scam ever... They told me that 40+ people will be getting interview and they will narrow it down to four.. I was chosen to go back for my 2nd round of interviews, on which i had to learn the 8 steps and 5 steps to sales and comunication, they told me this in the last 5mins of my interview, which lasted 8 hours in the freezing cold and rain walking around god knows where in the middle of norwich. I had to stay at this crummy little office untill 10pm, and had the news that i got the job. But they didnt want me to start untill the 1st of september, ( My 18th birthday) i Felt so please with my self that the hard work that day paid off. After sitting in the bus station and traverling home for ever a hour, i was still over-joyed about my new position. They also told me about becoming manager in 10 months that got me very interested, and also told me id be on atleast 4 thoughsand pound a week, so how could i turn this job down?? It came to the 31st of August and i was really worried about the hour bus trip home on the cold winter dark nights, and decided not to go in. i was very dissapointed with my self. i typed into google, '' sms norwich'' and it came up with this site, i thought id take a look and see what people were saying. and thinking about what every one has said, about them speaking fast so you cant answer questions or really understand anything about the company. I had second thoughts about ringing and asking if i was still offerd the job. But in the end,  didnt call them, i got about 20 calls from that number, but didnt once answer, But i dont know about anyone else, but i saved the number they first rung me off to say i got 2nd interviews, and it wasnt the number i had all the missed calls off. I am so glad i didnt go, i recently got offerd a brillent job at River Island. And i am so happy i didnt waste anytime, with that company. So about the language but they all Scamming [***],
    Thanks, kirsty.

Seriously guys??!! I know several people who do this, from first gens up to those who are earning 4 grand a week and I have witnessed them go through the whole process. Yeh it is hard work, but if you work hard, make your way to manager, you then wont have to work at all when you hit 40. packs about 35 years of your life into 1 basically. If you are determined enough you can get 300 quid a week without being a manager. Not everyone gets through at all, you do your own recruiting for your team once youre 2nd gen, and obviously you only want those who are good and are going to do well, so what is the point of hiring someone who doesn't wash, or someone who is rude or who isn't confident enough to speak to people?

It isn't a scam, just hard work, which if you are willing to do then the rewards will come.

But if you guys are happy working at the likes of river island than be my guest.

Just had a phonecall from SMS asking me to attend an interview on Thursday. However the location for the interview hasn't been ararnged yet (If the job is based in Ipswich then why don't they have an office there for the interview). So I googled SMS Norwich and it looks like its Door to Door sales and commission only pay although it doesn't say anything like this on the job adverts. Don't think i'll bother going

They are also calling themselves Junior Enterprise Ltd.  They don't tell you this is door-to-door sales or that you don't get a basic wage.

Avoid this company at all costs.  Do not call Kendall or Megan, its a waste of time.

I also applied and was of course accepted for an interview with the so called 'worldwide company' SMS maketing, with what they claimed to have 35 offices around the uk. From my research the only website they have is the one in which they emailed me. Of which I noticed had been created in 2011 and had nothing but a brief explanation as to the fact it was a sales and marketing company! After attending the first interview and being invited back for a second, I was excited about the prospects the job had to offer. But researching the company only led me to this website and no indication they they are what they claimed to be. I had mysterious calls from random mobile numbers following the interview, which when I rang back the following morning, the person who answered hung up. At roughly 10pm that night I also tried calling the phone number in which I was contacted by 'Kendall' to tell me I had been successful in my application. I was expecting to reach some kind of voice-mail service telling me that the office was closed and to leave a message, considering the time of night, but oh no... a male answered in a very informal manor, and I could hear a TV and children playing in the background. Overall I am extremely angry and embarrassed that I fell for this con and am just glad I found out before I wasted my time at the second interview. My interview was due to be held at '11 ORFORD PLACE, NORWICH NR1 3RU'  today 12pm-8.30pm. This is there apparent main office. Some action should be taken to stop this happening to anyone else!!!!!

JUNIOR ENTERPRISE LTD = SMS MARKETING LTD = SRM MARKETING LTD.

Based in Norwich (11 Orford Place) with the number 01603 230186

Just a bit of googling will show you exactly what these people are doing! I thought I'd post because SRM is mentioned a lot in google searches but Junior Enterprise is not. The word needs to be spread that it's the same thing. I applied for the same marketing job the other day and was called the very next day, just like in all of the other instances mentioned here for SRM etc. I didn't even pick up, I found it so suspicious!!! Over the past few days they've called me and emailed me numerous times - what recruiter does this to an applicant he hasn't even met or interviewed yet???

So I googled the number and it took me to lots of posts about SRM marketing. Bear in mind the company who called me were called JUNIOR ENTERPRISE. So basically, they're the same company, with the same number.

I kind of wanted to go to the interview just for laughs but ... hmm ... I settled for sending a very blunt email to them instead ;)

I work in recruitment and know several people that have worked long hours for SMS and have ended up with no wages to show for as commission based only.
I do not know how this company has continued to advertise jobs with salaries when its all commission based roles only.
    Beware people!

Lots of stories on here but thought id tell mine....

had the whole second interview fiasco with SMS marketing today. found out we would be going to Suffolk after we had practically sprinted to the train station from Norwich city center. Payed for own ticket. Got to Suffolk and after an hour spent with another graduate who I was supposedly 'competing' for the job with and being told to dream up a fake business dragons den style i told the d***head who was supposedly a manager to f*** off. He has sellotaped glasses... how is he making any kind of money if he has sellotaped glasses? wow... he has a little b itch boy who was i presume a trainee, who seemed to have been indoctrinated into this scam and was doing all the carrying of lunches etc... NOT getting payed, but he seems happy about it---- BRAINWASHED.

i feel sorry for not only the vulnerable people who are being sold too but also the less confident people who would not have stood up to these idiots and told them where to stick their job!

    just sear clear....
