I GET A CALL APPROXIMATELY EVERY 2-3 DAYS ON MY CELL AND HOME NUMBER STATING I HAVE WON A TRIP

I too started getting these calls ever since I signed up for the DO NOT CALL LIST.

I got a call from 000-000-0000 a few days ago, I picked it up out of curiosity - It was a pre-recorded message selling a vacation package (I only listened for 5 seconds or so).  They never called back after I picked it up ... the actual number is spoofed to the zeros somehow so you don't know who is calling.  This technique can be used by a variety of companies to hide their identity, in any case, their obviously up to no good, so don't answer it.  Check out phonebusters.com.

I keep getting these calls too from 000-000-0000 at hrs of the day.Anooying! How do I make them stop?

I recently placed an add over the internet and my funny calls started then. I urge people to not put there numbers on the internet if you have to place an add somewhere. I placed mine on El doArk.

I just received a call about the cruise package, where you have to answer 10 questions first, it's a pre-recorded message, I've read about other people getting harassed by them but their number always shows up as 000-000-0000. Well not this time, their number came through. I also have received calls from a 1-000-000-0000 and the second time they called I answered it and no one was on the other line, I think next time I'm going to mess around with the person on the other end.

Got a call from this number, of course I didn't answer it. A guy left me a message saying "Hello Carolyn. A close friend wanted me to share this message with you: This season I have been thinking about all of the wonderful women who have inspired boys to become men. You are a wonderful women. Have a Merry Christmas." What the???

call came in at 8:44pm did not answer

I never used to get telemarketer calls...I signed up to the national do not call list, just for the hell of it...signed up my cell on it as well....about a week later I started guetting called from the 000-000-0000 number when I pick up the phone, I dont hear anything on the other end...they've been calling about everyday now...

40+ calls on christmas eve, WTF!!!!  collection or not that is a bit much

I get calls from this #000-000-0000 constantly.....I just got one now the 5th one today and I answered it and questioned the hell out of them...they told me they were from an online pharmacy and they wanted to sell me pills...I asked them why the phone # comes up that way and man who i could barely understand told me it was to protect my privacy I said I think you are trying to protect your privacy I told them I don't take medication and he asked me if anyone in my houshold did I said no and he proceeded to try to pressure me to buy whatever he was selling...I asked him for a return # and he hung up something is up with this # it seems that everyone is being told something else and this phone # is a crock its a bunch of telemarketers harrassing the hell out of everyone...someone..like the cell phone company needs to stop this

I have receive this call on both  my home and cell number I did not answer
this type of call and after reading the comments never will. I am on the
do not call registry and it is a help but some calls still get through

I have my name on THE DO NOT CALL LIST but obviously it is not catching these calls. I thought the DO NOT CALL LIST was suppose to help the consumer not burden them with these annoying calls. Please stop these calls. These people need to get a life and leave people alone.

This number showed on on my caller ID 000-000-0000. It was from a collection agencie. I told them I dont work or will never work. That I live off the street and beg for movey and free meals. I never heard from them again

I was getting this number for a few months not too long ago. I didn't answer because i thought it was a telemarketer or bill collector. But the would call three of 4 times a day for about 3 months.

I've been getting numerous calls from the numbers 000-000-0000, 123-456-7890,
222-255-5555, 222-222-2222, 888-888-8888,
666-666-6666, 444-644-4444, 777-000-7770, and so on.
All of which are still recorded on my caller ID.
They're all from the same company.
They all start out with a poorly automated voice asking for me by name.
Then ask for me to press one if I am that person they've asked for.
I did today, and I got a long wait of nothing but classical music.
Then, finally, someone answered.

They claimed to be with GE Money Bank.
I told them I had been getting several calls from different numbers,
and that I was quite annoyed.
The man on the phone told me that I had a payment due of $144.
When asked where this payment came from and what it was for,
he only stuttered about a previous payment that I have paid in November.
I paid no such payment.

Then, when asked if he knew that Caller ID spoofing is illegal,
he stuttered again and said "No, Ma'am, I wasn't aware of this."
Then said something about all calls be automated and the numbers could be different.

This is a bunch of nonsense.
If you get a call from any odd number like this, do not answer it.
If you do, they will know someone lives there and is willing to pick up.
DO NOT ANSWER IT.
