Regarding 000-000-0000. THIS IS A "SPOOFING" method. Once you pick up or the voice message picks up, these black market phone number sellers, get your number. It is all done on the computer. They get 1000's of numbers and sell them to different businesses and telemarketing programs. I got rid of my phone completely. This spoofing can happen even with unlisted or restricted phone numbers. I have contacted my state Senator and Govenor. When we answer the phone no one talks it just hangs up. IT IS THE COMPUTER HANGING UP. BELIEVE ME. AND PASS THIS INFORMATION TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS. IT IS TRUTH!

Got call from 000-000-0000 but I think my TeleZapper got it. I was disconnected as soon as my TeleZapper sent its disconnect signal. Time will tell. It is hard to find a TeleZapper anymore (maybe on ebay). It is supposed to make any computer that calls you think your number has been disconnected and supposedly your number goes off their system.

I've been getting these 000-000-0000 calls but I'm not around to get them.  Today I was taking a nap and all but dropped out of my bunk to the phone below, someone saying, "Daniel?  Is this Daniel?

"Yeah?"

"Hello Daniel...This is Cindy[...]" Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

The caller, who had a VERY heavy Indian (as in New Delhi, that India) asked for me by name, and said he was "calling for Native American Aid, out of North Dakota."  Yeah, right! I told him not to call here again, and that we were on Do Not Call List.

Rec'd calls from this number several times.  No message, so I don't answer.

recieved a call from (000)000-0000  no idea who it is

Just got a call from this 00 number and the "lady" advised she was calling from the Province of BC Government office and was inquiring if I was still looking for office space. She then asked when I was planning to move again. I asked her for identification and she thanked me and hung up. Not sure what this is all about but I will now block all calls from this number.

My fiance works for a collection agency and whenever she calls me from her work phone it shows up as (000)-000-0000.  Idk if that helps any of you

This number has called four or five times over the last week or so but there has never been any response until today when the female on the other end, who knew my name, started to tell me that nthere was an invitation to me and one other guest at which pioint I left the phone off the hook until she got fed up.  I think she said she was calling from Florence, Italy.

I've been geting callsa from 000-000-0000 lately. I just don't answer those and they never leave a message. How is there such a number?

A 'woman' called me from this number and said 'she' had an offer for me regarding my car warranty. I say 'woman' because, strangely enough, it did not even sound like a woman. It was a deep voice that I can only attribute to a man. 'She' said that she would call back and give me time to think. She called back 3 minutes later. Not a chance I was falling for this.

I received a call this morning from 1-000-000-0000 and got a voicemail message from Blockbuster.  It was just a recording saying I have something past due.

Me too, 40 min ago. I have been getting calls from this number everyday, about every 2-3 hours, for the past 3 weeks. I answered once and the phone was dead. Can't we do anything about theses pests.

I have gotten a call twice with the 000-000-0000 but do not answer it. I have never rented from block buster so I dont think it can be them. My phone is from Alltel not vorizon.

weird.... alot of people seem to know where this number is from but all the answers are different! Blockbuster, waste mangement, car payments, women who have no money to pay for their children's food.... ahhh!! it's freaking me out.

This # keeps calling my work, and I have signed up on the DO NOT CALL LIST. I still get telemarketer calls almost everyday!

to tell the truth these calls boost my ego.... the real me knows that the world revolves me and its all about me so when i get these calls they make me feel so good. my perfection makes people so angry that they made it their mission to f**k with me.  i think i need up my lithium.

I somehow got on that pharmacy telemarkters list in India and they've been calling 8 times per day for over two years.  I put this on my answering machine:
"This is Ben.  I got on some pharmacy telemarketers list in India and they have been calling over 8 times per day for over two years.  I wish those guys would get a job.  Anyway, I don't answer the phone anymore so please leave your number".

Sometimes when I'm expecting them to call I forward my phone to the India consulate general that I got of the India Embassy site (212)774-0601.  That stopped this one.

I got sick of this number coming up on my caller I.D.  I answered and it was a telemarketer of a company I tried to contact a few months ago.  I asked the guy why he was spoofing his number to prevent the caller I.D. from showing the correct number.  He explained it was a computer generated phone call.  So I'm guessing its not the guys fault but the company that set up the computers.  I asked for his phone number to which he handed over for the customer service line. I will call back tomorrow and go postal on someone.
