I get a call from this # constantly. I don't owe anyone anything. I refuse to answer thinking this could be someone trying to "clone" my #.  Anyone else get these?

I got 2 calls from 1-000-000-0000 this afternoon within 30 minutes.  Could hardly hear the woman because the call was cracking up.  I hung up and she called again.  She asked for my grandson by name.  I told her he could not come to the phone.  She then wanted to know if I was a registered voter and she wanted to ask me some questions.  I informed her I was not interested and hung up.

This number called at 6:55 a.m. today, no one on line and after a few minutes tone signal comes on. the same thing happened at 6:38 p.m. with the number 778-735-6151, no one on line and after a few seconds tone signal returns and operator recording tells you to hang up. I recalled that number and it was a so-called survey, but was actually for time-shares.

I just received a call from V804184515000139 at 1-000-000-0000. Of course, I did NOT answer when I saw that!  WHO uses numbers like that?  It had to be some kind of scam...possibly from outside the USA?? Has anyone else ever gotten a call like that??

I was playing a game on my computer when I suddenly get called by the 000 number. I ignored it until they called again... They said they were from Microsoft and blah blah blah. When I payed attention to them, They were right about everything so far but then they wanted me to let them into my computer... that is when i put my foot down and said No. I told them I had no authority to allow them into my computer... They said they will call back when I am more comfortable. I put a blacklist on that number hopefully never getting a call back again. I told my parents about it and they agree that I shouldn't answer. I figured they were hackers with a wide database. I NEVER EVEN PUT MY PHONE ON THE WEB!!!

The number that calls me 10 times a day is 310-000-0000.  The person doesn't say a word though and then hangs up after 6 to 8 or so seconds.  I don't owe money for any bills so it wouldn't be a collection agency, plus no one is talking or trying to sell me anything.
Verizon says it is definitely a person, not any computer glitch.  And that there are apps for people to change their cell number.  It also can't be blocked.

    Does anyone have any suggestions/thoughts?

    Thanks

I got calls from 000-000-0000 several times already.  I picked up it once, and there was no voice.

I often got calls from "Out of Area".  It's number is "Out of area" (the difference is that one has a capital letter and other is lower case. My phone is not able to block any call without a number.

    ly,
this is easy.  tell them about Jesus and ask them if they want to be saved.  if they don't hang up, perhaps you can lead them to our LORD.  what a great avenue for witnessing.

Think it's a call from GE as I have an overdue account with them. But all Zero's...really who's going to answer that when it comes up! by the way another tactic they use is to send you"pre approved" account info to help "build your credit" then they get a judgment and suck the money from your job and bank account info you gave in your pre approved application.
