Had 3 calls from this number yesterday, no one spoke when answered.Received another one this morning.very annoying!!! Now put a block on it.

The first time i received calls from this number was awhile ago before my grandma died. We didn't think much of it until they started calling more frequently before she died. Me and my family tried to trace the calls and there were no records of the number, no area code, ect...Soon after my grandma had died it starting calling again before my grandpa died. I was getting a little suspicios so i started asking around and it turns out my moms friend had the same thing happen to her dad before he died....creepy huh? Well today i got the call again and im hoping it might not be the same scenario. I gues you never really know who is on the other line. . .

Got a call from this number a few weeks back, woman said good bye after about 10-secs of silence. thought nothing of it and done 1471. 00000000000 was the caller id, just thought it was a prank call and ignored it.

That same night a weird man tiried to get into my ground floor flat luckily enough someone came down the coridor and frightened him of was very scared as he said he was coming to get me. Phoned the police and gave them a statement, they told me to watch my back and be a little bit wary of people, but fortunately nothing happend.

Why cannot ATT stop it, block it

rumour going around my office is that this is a scam,when you answer your connection is opened and they use connection to make int'l and other calls.
even if you hang up,the connection is still left open.
may be [***] but why take the chance,just don't answer it!!

Not in when called but answering machine bleeps, no message just weird noise in background. Rang 1471 told 00000000000??????????????

ive also been getting this nuisance number & yes its so annoying, especially when you have just got in from work, or just settling down to watch a good tv programme. What's even more annoying is that company's avertise to stop these nuisance call's, but once you have filled the relevant form in or they contact you!!!!!!!! YES there's a charge for the service.SO WHY SHOULD WE HAVE TO PAY TO STOP THESE NUISANCE CALL'S ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR PRIVATE HOME NUMBER IS X DIRECTORY. I REST MY CASE.

Argh.  This number just woke my kids up - calling at 7.11pm - silence, then a woman saying 'goodbye'.  So annoying.

I am so frustrated with this number or whatever it is calling my cell phone!! This number calls every day or every 2 days, I answered it a while back and just hung up. This has been going on for 2 months now,and my phone always says I have a voicemail from them and when I play it it's a bunch of silience!!! I called my phone company (AT&T)and they said they can't block the number because its not a "real number" and its impossible to trace. The only option they gave me was to change my number and they would waive the fee of $36 to do so. I explained I have had the same number for yrs so changing it is not that simple. Does anyone have any idea who this is and how to make it stop or investigate it??

This number calls me everyday around the same time. I answered it one time and indian music played for 2 seconds then disconnected. They never leave a message.

damn number keeps calling at a particulart time of the day

the above number kept calling me for two weeks at times twice in a day. finally got someone on the other line and it was from timewarner trying to give me some bull about thier offer's. I told them to remove my phone from thier call list how do u harrass someone for some bull sales? timewarner needs to be sued!

Never answered this number, but after the calls they leave a voice message, but it just sounds like background noise, like when someone accidentally calls from their pocket. I can't make out any names or anything, just people talking and background noise.

I traced the call and it was from 000000000.  I tried to have it direct dialed and verizon said it could not handle it..whatever that means.  I think Verizon needs to be notified.

Well they called today apparently from BT re my home and my account details.. strange cos i'm with virgin lol. i just hung up.


when they call me back, now my wife just has a laugh with them. she just answered the call with a impression of rafiki from lion king.. trust me its a lot more fun and winds them up something rotten. i recommend using the line from the film "you dont know who you are" also my wife did another impression and the agent had to try and guess if she was a man or a woman lol that was so funny they hung up when they heard us all laughing.
