Annoying people using "caller unavailable" yesterday- managed to get them holding on for 38 minutes while I made lunch. Tried this fake number today. Company offering suspect pc support from pcsupportcaretoday .com or pcsupportcare .com. Improved my tally to 39 minutes this time while I checked email / answered callers ... yea! Timewasters

Got call tonight but no one spoke ,so now i know from this forum next time i will blow a whistle down the phone,

This number called today, it got my usual response.
Caller "Hello"
Me "F**K OFF"
Caller "Sorry Sir"

Love it! Wish I'd answered it now :D

Glad I came on here.  Got this number calling me today.  I just picked up and said nothing and they said nothing too.
I hope they don't start ringing regularly

I just block any numbers such as this and they can't call back.

the number you are seeing is from a generated listing that a computer calls from to see what time of day someone is home to answer telemarketing calls, it copies these times to a file and then the company that did the calls sells this list to telemarketers at 3 to 5 cents a number.  It saves them from paying actual people to do cold calls.  The best way to deal with it is to not answer the phone.  After the sixth time of calling with no answer the computer puts you on a number not identified list and will try again in a month or so, if you don't answer it the second time around, you are removed automatically from the list.  Hope this helps a few of you out there in telephone heck land.

This number called me a short while ago. An Asian sounding gent asked to speak to the homeowner. I said I was the homeowner and he then started telling me that there was a Government grant available for my property. I told him that he knew no such thing and I didn't want to hear anymore. I put the phone down but as I did so I could still hear him babbling along :-)

.... i got a call from this number!! ... but it said it was Microsoft o.0 and there was something going on with my computer ... (do they know things like that?)

yaaah!! you have the same one as me lol ... i was thinking it seemed a bit dodgy!

Phone rang at 11.55am today (09/12/10).

I answered but nobody was at the other other end.

Did 1471 and couldn't believe it whent the voice gave me the number as "oh, oh, oh, oh" et.c)!

Ridiculous!

3 Times today so far its now 1825. I let it go to the answer machine, but the ignorance shows as nobody leaves a message. Going to try and barr then now.

This number calls everyday, about two or three times a day!!!! I'm tired of it

I have 2 questions to all of you that had these calls. first of all the number conteined 11 or 12 zeros? second question. Did anyone you knew recently died? if you want answer to me seriously please. thank you.

I am worried about calls coming from this firm and do not know how to stop them.

This number just two 00 keep calling me at regular intervals over the last three days wants to now if I have a computer then tells me I have a virus and to go to his web site so that he can tell me how to remove the virus. Do not be fooled when you go to his web site he installs a virus then pretends to be able to remove it at a cost to you.sounds like a Pakistani accent to me.

This number keeps calling me 2 or 3 times a day asking to speak to someone I don't understand the accent and can't make out what he is saying. Now I've got numbered saved on fone with the name don't answer whoever it is they are pains in the rear end
