It was actually just 00 that called me but this site won't allow it as a number, it's too short

This number called about 5 minutes ago, they have called before.  My phone is on answer/fax so I don't speak to such callers.

I have received two calls with identical content.  the first was about a week ago - number withheld.  The second was a few minutes ago - this time the eleven zeros came up on my caller display.  Both times, it was an Indian-sounding woman who asked if I was Mrs ******* to whom she was speaking.  When I confirmed this, she launched into some spiel about calling from Microsoft and saying that my PC was sending out virus alerts, or some such.  On the first occasion, I told her not to talk such rubbish - and not to phone my number again.  This time, I just hung up on her.

A device that I have found useful is to enter these numbers into my phone address book with the prefix: 'Pest.....'.  This particular one has now been entered as: 'Pest Microsoft'.  My phone also has the useful facility of being able to voice-record different ringtones.  So, for these calls, my ringtone is: 'Nuisance caller!  Nuisance conman calling!'  Believe me, it saves a great deal of time - and worry!

Just been called by this number. Noone at the end of the line.

We don't have an answerphone on our home phone, so this morning, i was asleep and got woken yp by the phone. It carried on ringing for around 3 MINS. so i got up, rushed to the phone thinking it was someone who needed me urgently but knew i was in, and answered it with a rather huffy "WHAT?!" Ten it disconnected, and i thought the caller had given up on me just when i answered.

So I called 1471 and i got 00000000000 by the woman that usually answers . I was expecting that same lady to say about pressing three or just hangiing up. Instead another recorded (this time cheerful) ladys voice goes

"If you wish to return the call, just press 3. Just so you know, there may be a charge for returning the call."

Is there really any point to getting up before i want to? No. So how much did i hate that cheerful recorded woman? enough to reach down the phone and poke her in the face, HARD, thats how much.

Got a call from a girl, Thea, but when i checked to see what her number was all the 0's came up.

It was a woman saying she wanted to do a survey and I said I didnt want my info passed onto other companys.  She said she wasnt selling anything but I got suspicious and hung up.

Just got a call from these [***].. I answerd and did my normal routine when i answer the phone. If its a telemarketer I usally just hang up. So i hung up. I get a call back and the guy on the other end asked if I hung up on hime and proceeded to tell me [***] YOU and Go To Hell. And then started to threaten me over the phone. If anyone has anymore information please let me know.

This guy called me at work about a loan that I applied for and was telling me that if I needed anymore assistance I could call him and I told him I am not interested and he kept calling and harassing me telling me he could call as many times as he wanted. He did not Identify what loan company He was calling from but I think His first name was dean

Repeated unwanted calls.  What can be done to stop this intrusive nonsense?

Just had 4 calls from this "11 zero's" number. Actually, the first 3 gave me a "we do not have the caller's number" message, but the fourth listed the number. In all of them there was a few seconds silence followed by an automated "goodbye!" message. Should I eventually get a person trying to speak to me, I intend to use a lot of swearwords, etc.

id just got the phone call just now and me and my partner are geting sick of it so we are going to change are number coz its everyday and more than 3 times aday for the last 6 months but what a strange number to be calling from

yes this number just called me .... i didnt answer it .. got to be someone selling something.

I had several calls from an 8 digit (00000000) caller, regarding my computer which he claims is downloading illegal materials. Challenging him  (male person with Asian accent similar to call centres) and stating that I do not download anything illegal from the internet, he is still very persistent of his claim and states he is representing 'Windows????? Direct' which must be a load of cobblers! I am getting somewhat fed up with this idiot so I am ready for his next call with a very rude response which may include the phrase - 'go forth and multiply!' in decoded format!

Got a call from this number today, when I picked up it just clicked off...

Very odd... don't know if there are any other calls from this number as I don't normally have time to do 1471.

Just an after thought from reading further of your comments.. could this number be used by potential fraudsters trying to get sensitive details from us, as you are all saying they either hung up or were asking info or were rude and not telling you where they were calling from...

Very suspicious to me.....

I just had a call from this number (the guy's name was Jay and he sounded Asian) and it was about a government grant for cavity wall insulation. When I told him that we didn't have cavity walls, he just hung up - no thank you, no sorry for bothering you. Rude b**t**d!!!!

WE FOR THE PAST MONTH HAVE BEEN GETTING CALLS FROM THIS 00000000000 NUMBER IT WAKES US IN THE NIGHT AND CALLS 3-4 TIMES A DAY WITH YOU'VE GUEST IT NO ONE THERE.
PLEASE TELL US HOW TO STOP THIS IT'S DRIVING US MAD.
