called my landline twice within 12 hours...9.30pm last night and no one on the other end and 9am this morning...a pakistani man by the name of David Munro, said he was from broadband, and that they discovered there were faults showing when i used my computer....then the line went dead

Had this call several times I just tell them to go away in jerky movements ie XXXX Off

Just been woken up when I'm off sick from work today by this number so am not happy! Man was talking in another language before eventually answering my hello. He claimed to be from Microsoft Office and wanted my husband. Didn't seem fussed it wasn't him who answered. Wanted me to open his computer up to show me 'in front of my eyes' that there were corrupt downloads on there. Kept saying 'ok?!' 'ok?!' at the end of every sentence, aggressively. For example when I asked him to confirm (I already knew it was a scam) his work place he said 'Microsoft Office, ok?! Based in Liverpool, ok?!' and trotted off the postcode of something or other. Anyway, I hung up.

This call said they were in Washington dc wanting to reverse charges or something I hung up... I do not want to be charged money for this, who was this

Been gittin texts with no words and now phone calls!!!!!  Weird and anoying!

Completely fed up!! This number rings up several times a week, no one talks then the phone is put down. Might invest in a high pitched whistle to blow down the phone!!!

Had a call from 000000000000 said it was ofcom and prattled on about line service so just told him to get lost. Hung up. Had similar calls whenever i bought a new computor about windows and it was the same Asian guy. They get your details saying things like we need you bank details to pay money to you that you have been over charged then they rob you blind.

A woman with an American accent said to me: " You are the only individual in this conference." Then she hung up.

Yes, they tried to call three times today.
Fortunately, I have a BT8500 which blocks them dead. Apparently, these calls are permitted in the UK because it was deemed by the authorities that they do not cause significant distress.
I'll tell you what, I'll show you distress if I ever get one of these people.
Where is the call type below listed as 'scammer'? All of the options available are legitimate.

Oh! I know....I bet the Police come after me now for a threat against these people. The British Police can't get real criminals so they have to achieve their quotats by picking on victims. The whole system is corrupt!

Female Indian accent caller asked "Can I speak to the Sky account holder"  Don't have, nor has this house ever had Sky! Obvious con company.  Have placed loud whistle by the phone in case she calls again.

Had a call from this number earlier, A female saying they were from Imperial Telecom representing BT telecom and could give me a discount. Said 'Oh Japanese I suppose you want my bank details' no was the reply but discounts available. Said I am on TPS and they hung up.
Getting totally p****d off with these calls and BT's obvious lack of effort to stop them apart from trying to increase sales of
number blockers and the like. If it wasn't for the need of the internet I would tell BT where to go.
Nobody will do anything because half the MP's in this country get rake offs from crap like this.

Silent call from this number @ 15.15 today. Irritating.

My no. was called by 000000000000 [this call did not get through to me - IT WAS BLOCKED] if you call costomer services @ BT they have an answer,, an apparatus that doesnot let these call get through, your phone will not even ring, you could even get such an item on the net, !!!!!!!!!! go on stop these daft calls !!!!!! thing of it , if every person that had a piece of equipment that stops these getting through , then these "persons" will be out of work and the scams will be eradicated - so guys get moving - go for it - good luck to you all, - and very bad luck to the scammers
