I just received a call from this number.  Did a quick internet search and came across this forum.  Looks like scammers to me - into the blocked list you go.....

Me too. I live in the UK but I am currently in Australia. I have SMS'd a few times between the two continents and now I am getting missed calls from this number.

I have had calls from this number. I think it originates from New Delhi. The caller is hanging up and hasn't asked me for anything. The calls started JUST as I got a replacement SIM for my phone .... I am now changing phone numbers. Not Happy !!!

The last couple of days I keep getting this number calling me, today I answered it and all I could hear was a buzzing sound!! Who is it? Don't like it!!!!

Just had this number ring me, I answered it and no body said anything weird!!

Met this guy EVANS  MOORN on Facebook. Saying he was real, rang me from this number. Tried to ring back...disconnected after he talked,,,sounded African or Asians. He says he works for shell. From Liverpool.

I received 3 missed calls from private numbers today and the 1 missed call from this number: 00011976000
I didn't answer as looked dodgy. But I just switched providers and got a replacement sim today so assuming that has something to do with it.

Or I've applied for a few jobs online lately... Not side if that affects it?

I'm from UK also and living in Oz, but unlike other posts haven't messaged any UK numbers yet.

I have also applied for some jobs on Seek lately and get this missed call. But yeah who knows, they could just call random numbers until they get lucky. However from what I've been reading here they are wasting their time and money cos they don't ever say anything if you do happen to answer the call.

I wish to identify this caller please

I have been getting these calls on and off for about 2 weeks, always during 4-6am. I never answer numbers I don't know and if it's important, they will leave a message. I suggest others do the same so these hackers don't get access to your phone. Thanks to the new iphone, I can now block this number.
Do they think we're stupid??

I had two calls from this number within 5 minutes at 10.45 in the evening.

I have had 5 miss calls from this number they never leave a message

I got missed call from this number today. No one left a voice message but I could hear a mom and a kid speaking Cantonese from the background

I was called twice from this number saying in what sounded like an American accent that as a loyal customer from Global Shopping (I've never bought anything ever!) I won a free no postage gift offer....I hung up & was called again she called me by my 1st name  which was a worry.

This is a scam they called me from Mexico and asked me about investment

I get calls from people with no caller id everyday and then this time I got a number that says 00011976000. I didn't pick it up but I never share my number to anyone except my relatives.
