This number calls at all different times (market research), I told the woman nicely we're not interested but to no avail.

This number keeps calling me!

Getting the same treatment here - called up to three times a day, but it's hitting the answer phone when I'm not in.  Most annoying thing is this is a business line that my company put into my home office 8 months ago, and I registered with TPS on it straight after it was installed.

Getting called all the time, last time late Friday evening

received unwanted call from above number. Asked caller how my number was obtained, he said "number was generated at random".

Called 17.15  2.jan.08  trying to find my details out over the phone  BEWARE SCAM

This number called so i asked them to hang on while i turn off the hob, then i carried on watching TV

Number keeps calling my London business line even though I am registered with TPS; never leaves a message.

I'm about to send them a letter:-

Dear Sir,

My time is valuable. I have decided to give you a special price of £100 per telephone call directed to 01XXX XXXXXX. This contract price will apply to calls I answer, as well as to any that I become aware of by use of the 1471 service.
Making calls to the above number after receipt of this recorded delivery letter will be deemed to be an acceptance of the contract price.

I have received two calls in the last 24 hrs, one at 10.30pm which could worry some. As with all other reports, no message was left. I accepted many years ago a trial Daily Telegraph subscription offer which expired. Despite being registered with the Telephone Preference Service am now receiving calls from 0208 861 8682 Daily Telegraph subscriptions offer, Ipsos MORI market research, Lowestoft - http://www.ipsos-mori.com/

Had a missed call from this number on my mobile today. Have never before received market research calls to my mobile! Research shows it to be Daily Telegraph related, a paper to which I have no links.

Follow up to some work I had done by Autoglass. Just a customer care type call, am I happy with the work etc.

Person calling asked if I had a few minutes to answer questions about my TV viewing habits. I said I don't have a TV, she then asked me if I have web access, I said no again and hung up.

My mobile is registered with the TPS but according to their website (kindly provided by Goodwill above), this makes no difference and they are allowed to call. Incredibly annoying.

They called me to ask if I would answer questions about my leisure interests on behalf of the council. I asked which council and he didn't know! I told him to make a note never to call me again, he got quite indignant, suggesting this survey was important. I told him to shove his survey where the sun doesn't shine and hung up.

Me too. Been called loads recently, getting more often now. I've never picked up, and now have no intention of doing so.

I've had a number o calls rom this exact number.As it only shows it's an external call coming in. I dont answer.
Has become a nuisence now.

reason---   My mission is to stop people like you from calling every Day,
Which is an intrusion on our privacy, and which could/do cause great distress to Older people and others.

I have just registered my new number, which is with Virgin on TPS and it made me think, why should i have to register with them not to receive such calls, it should be the other way round and we should have to register to go on their contact list !!!
I bet they wouldn't get many people registering with them.
