THis number 00123456789 keeps ringing - I answered it and they said have you had an accident to which I replied no - they the said 'oh no' and hung up? Who does it belong to - when you try to ring the number back it is invalid?

Today we've had one call from this number, four from 02392 386688 and two from 02087 599577.  Didn't pick up any of them, got the numbers via 1471.  From other postings on this site, the last two seem to be the same lot - often calling themselves Fredricksons Debt Collection, but sometimes something else.  I don't know if 00123456789 is any relation.

had a call from them today told them i was a member of trading standards and he sharply hung up recomend to all that has had this call

hangs up when you speak... it comes up on an iphone as from "Salem, OH" .... Ohio, I'd imagine.... thing is, they dont even say O-hi-o... or anything at all for that matter!! [***] w*nkstains!

I rang my phone provider today who said still nothing they can do even though i'm getting 16 calls a day at the moment, i answered just ONE and nobody spoke. It's always 001234567.

Ive got a phone call from 001 (234) 567-89, i think it is from united states of america Salem, OH.
they keep calling me but not leaving any messages when voicemail kicks in.  Anybody knows what this call all about?
I have answered TWICE but they hang up whenever i answer it.  i think this is class as nuisance call.

Today, i have had nothing but non stop harrassment from this number. Number reads as 001 (234) 567-89, Salem OH on my iPhone. 7 times today throughout the day. Yesterday was the same, and the day before it started. The times i have picked up it has just hung up on me within 3 seconds of answering. Also had a call from 001 (244) 564-141. When i try to ring back the first number, i get call failed, the second number just beeps out.

I got over thirty calls yesterday, still going today. I answer and then there's nothing the other end. Getting sick of it now. I need to have my phone on for emergencies.

called me 5 times today, twice yesterday and twice on Tuesday, today i actually got to speak to the operator, said he was from a company called Vintners I think. Asked me if I had had an accident in the last 24 months. told him to get lost, i was told to F*** Off!!!  Nice people.

had these 5 calls today did not answer as my mobile is on silent also will not answer if i do not know who they are looks like a big SCAM as all of the above have declared

This is getting very frustrating, over 20 calls this week, I'm glad to see its not just a N.American thing, I'm currently in Canada and thought it was because of this, but if anyone knows how to stop the feckers I'd appreciate it! I've answered once nd heard nothing!

Complete scum bags, I didnt know people still did prank calls, its frustrating that in a world of information on demand that apple or someone cannot make a product to block unwanted calls!

Just received a call from 00123456789. Curious I answered. It was silent and the caller out waited me until I hung up.  Feeling slightly worried, if details from my smart phone have transferred in any way or form !

I have been getting up to 8 calls PER DAY from these people for the last 2 months and apparently there is absolutely nothing I can do to stop it! It has been driving me insane, I answered them the first time and they told me they are from an claims company who told me they can compensate me for $4-$5,000 and then asked me what kind of accident I have had... I told them how can they know how much compensation they can give me if they don't even know what 'accident' I have had?! The guys (who sounded Indian) then put the phone down on me, and the calls continued for another month...then yesterday I decided to pick up and a woman (Indian) started babbling on about claims AGAIN and I told her to stop calling me...15 mins later I get another call from them, and 4 further phone calls since! Who are they? How do I make it stop??!!
