Been called 17 times in last few days from this number. No reply if I answer, unobtainable if I ring them. Clearly a scam but what is it?

I got a call from 900012345678 from a chap who said he was calling about my computer and a repair -- as I was at work and we have an IT Department to do this I knew from the outset that this was bal*ocks -- so I told him that I would be reporting this to our security people -- at this point he got a wee bit shirty -- so I told him he could Foxtrot Oscar -- annoying!!!!!!!!!

I got a call from this  nos today but they  hung  up when I answered- why  can't these  people  leave  us alone !!

i have had numerous calls in the last week from this number but cnt understand anything that is said to me as they seems to have a chinese accent with very broken english

I don't get I I get call 3 times a day everyday even in school when I answer it sounds like a recording but then it hangs up

i got called by this one 00123456789 when in canada and in uk try and return nothing

Hi! Im french and ive been called 22 times by this phone number from Ohio.
At first, it was just one or two times a day but it increased til 10 times. I dont answer number i dont know but what i CAN do to stop it??
It is so annoying!!!!!!!

had a least 20 calls from this number over the last week ,nothing at all on the end (very disturbing)
is there any thing i can do ? phoned my service provider but they were about as helpful as a ashtray on a motorbike,HELP

I've had this call a number of times now! Never have picked up though, I was at my friends house when I had the first one and shortly after they rang her, she said she got a call off then up to 14times a day, anyway of stopping the calls? Because they've been at the most inappropriate times like 3.00am to 5.00am, which is incredably annoying as I have school the next day and my parents are getting frustrated too when this happens at the times they do. It's comes up on my iPhone as +1 (234) 567-89
Salem, OH, and I can't seem to block the number! My dad's even been to the apple store in the city and they can't block the number because it's invalid? Most people say just turn you're phone off in the day but a phones used for contacting people and recieving calls so it wouldn't help turning it off.

I too have received calls from these people but I dont answer the call! I wonder who will get fed up first. I suggest others try this practice - its the only way to avoid blood pressure problems.

I've just started recieving these calls.  i spoke to Orange and was offered a number change (not possible)and then they suggested that i contact the police and report the number as a nuisance /malicious call.  They (the police) can then authorise Orange to block the call.  

If this works then i'll try and let everyone know.

I've had several missed calls from this number over the last few days (the most being 8 in a day so far)
I decided to answer once so I could find out how they got my number and who it is, and as soon as I started asking questions the line went dead.
I couldn't really hear what they were saying as the line was distorted, but it sounded like a woman

I got a call from this  nos  on  3.8.2011. Didn't  say anything  just  hung  up when I answered  on my  mobile. Why can't  mobile company's Stop  selling off  our nos ??

Did you have any luck with the  Police  re this  nos. I've  spoken  to Orange  before and they have advised that they can;t block nos and  best to change  my  nos instead- Not the  best  solution and  why  should we  have to,  Mobile companies  should  be able to block these  nos when reporterd to them!!
