had 2 calls from this phone number today all in the space of 3hrs - i dont know the number so i didnt answer it - that goes for all the other phone numbers that keep ringing all times of the day and night from 8am to 9pm

This the 5th time I actually got a person, asking foe a different name to mine and when I said it was the 5th call and to remove my number from their datadase, he said "I haven't called your number today" and hung up!!!!

When I've tried to return the call to discover who the company is, it's as if it doesn't exist!

i get this number come up 3 or 5 times a week no one talks

had three calls so far today, they wait for you to answer then hang up. veryn annoying when i have just got the baby to sleep!!!!!

3/4 calls a day from this number

I  have had this number call 3 or 4 times now.They don't speak just hang up.Who is it.

calls yet again. I would ignore the phone but have small children at school and it could be about them.
something has to be done, its really starting to get me down!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has been happeneing to me too from this number and always dead getting peed off now002135371000

Just spoke to BT reply was answer the phone but don't say anything (if it is someone that knows you they will talk) f you can do not hang up the phone the for about 5 minutes as this will run up there phone bill and they will stop.

The number is not from Algeria but a computerised auto dial.

00213537100 as been calling my number for two weeks every day, several times a day. Nobody answers, called Virgin and they've not heard anything about it.

ive had numerous calls from this number over the last 2 weeks,when i have answered the fone there is silence! WHY DO THEY HAVE TO DO THIS I AM SO FEDUP, IVE SHOUT DOWN THE FONE FOR THEM TO F*** OFF BUT STILL RING.PLEASE GET THEM STOPPED

Oh they answer all right, and when they do they are the most obnoxious people.  They asked for my by name and then they (as above) claim they are doing a telephone customer service questionnaire.  When you ask what it's about they say it will only take 2 mins of your time. This went around in circles until I slammed the phone down on them.... Just had another call.  So much for ex-directory!!

Also (starting at about the same time) I keep getting "public announcement" calls telling me about a government initiative for people in debt.

Funny they also keep calling.  Now very annoyed!!!!!

BT Can't or Won't help either

Silent call from this number a few minutes ago.

I've been getting calls from this number several times a day for several days now.  I haven't been in to answer them, so thought I'd check here.
I'm getting really fed up with cold calling and automated phone calls offering free phone calls and debt management.  If I wanted those services, I would sort it out myself.

I received a call from a lady on this number just as I was leaving the house to take my daughter to playgroup. When I told her I did'nt have a minute to talk she hung up on me and has continued to call me every couple of hrs and just hang up on me....which as you can guess is annoying...

Had a call from this number not 5 minuites ago, they hung up almost as soon as I picked up.
Needless to say this is enough for me to belive that it is some kind of scam.
I would recommend anyone to not call this number, if it is a friend or someone who needs to reach you they will call again, or from a different number (possibly not from Algeria either!).
Simply ignore it.

The toe rags who ring innocent people and then hang up like this lot should be dealt with by BT. Has anyone got the details of someone with enough clout to prevent and preferably prosecute these time wasters?

Same problem as people here - they ring 2/3 times a day - I run to the phone, they hang up.  The first call this morning was like a terrible interference sound - but mostly, they just hang up.  

I'm on the TPS and ex-directory too.  It's driving me insane, especially as I can never find the phone and end up running all over the house like a madwoman.
