Who call me 00401 and why?

I too got this calls from number 00401 to vodafone number. Who are these people ?

Do not answer. Get ur caller company to block the number

it's a company called bomgar. they want to try to fix your computer from a remote location. not sure if they're legit or not. google "bomgar" to see for yourself.

I got a call from 00401. Said she was a company that detected a virus corrupting the operating system on my computer and if I was using windows 7, vista etc. I just hung up.

Sometimes it goes blank but they say they are from business solutions

hi i got a call from 00401 yesterday and den a call from unavailable number today they say der from microsoft and ther is a problem with ur pc but they r really hackers tryin to access ur accounts as microsort dont make calls  as i have had a call from them b4 and got in touch with microsoft and they sid they never contact a customer unless u have all ready spoken to them

Its a computer compay in Sri Lanka who will try to get your bank details from you
Phone eircom and complain, they are trying to sort it out but the more of us that complain the faster something will happen!!!

I've been getting landline calls from 00401 for the last week, 2 maybe 3 times a day, I haven't answered any of the calls, thanks for the replies above, I'll contact my landline provider now and ask them to check it out.

I got a call too but silence so hung up.

I've been getting it for the past couple of months, but every time I picked up there would be silence, then a female recorded voice would say, "Goodbye" and the caller hung up.
I now just glance at the Caller ID and when 00401 shows, just lift and drop the handset.

i got a call from them yesterday on the phone for lik 40 mins it seemed genuine wat could they heave done my pc frooze up really bad and they said they would call back in the mornin but i got no call tis mornin soo wat nw and it was a chinnese ladie on the phone to

let the caller do as much talking as possible and give no information while letting the caller believe you have a computer. when they ask you to cooperate you slowly tell them that you do not own a computer and do not have one in your home. The caller hangs always up abruptly. The caller only wants you to access a website that will give him/her access to absolutely everything on your computer hard drive, including your bank details, passwords etc. With that information they would be in a position to clean out your bank accounts and run you into severe debt in a few seconds. If they are told that you do not have a computer they will have no interest in talking to you

I just got a call from this number 00401, no reply when I answered, just some woman who said
" Goodbye" Got quite a few of these calls before, don't give them any information!

someone called me in the name of Manglore University professor, enuired with my resume he told that his namewas Madhusudan B.K i got two time from same number.
