00401

I got another call from this number 00401...............grrrrrr, so sick of these calls!

Called me, asked for 2 people, I said they werent here, hung up.

Got another call from this number, 00401. She said her name was Angela & she worked for a company called PC Doctor. I hung up. I had been in contact with our phone services provider recently to ask them to block calls from these numbers, they emailed me back to say this wasn't possible. I'm so sick of these calls........................

I've had this 00401 call several times. They say that you have a problem with a virus on your computer and they ask you to type a number in. THEN they can hack in to your computer and drain all your details and addresses. We have been warned that they are a scam so when they ring tell them that you have been warned about them and they are a scam and they immediately cut you off

James Just see your message ..dont do any credit card transactions etc until you get somebody to check your computer. those people put a programme into peoples computer so they can get all your personal details. hope you are not too late

I want to know about 00401

its when someone is calling you from abroad but is using a mobile roaming meaning not using a local sim and has selected the option to withheld their number. I have done this myself, i have a UK sim and called a friend from abroad also withheld my number, they recieved a call with 00401. So rather than it being displayed as unknown call which it does sometimes, but sometimes it also get displayed as 00401, Hope it helps. So basically someone is calling you from aborad.

this is a fake company which want to do you call back on the same no,so that they can earn lots of money

Even i got 5-6 calls from the number 00401. I didnt answer them, but i ll definitely trace them out.

We keep getting calls round about 12.30pm  three or four times a week. If i say hello some person at the other end just puts the phone down.  Very odd !
