i got a message tex from this number

This person seemed to be on a dating website and tried to get money out of me after telling me lots of bullsh*t stuff to get me hooked..He/she was an expert at scamming, but thankfully,I was smart enough to not want to send money, I realized it was a scam for which I am very grateful...don't ever give out your information to someone you do not know, and if they cannot call you to talk then it is a scam!! Unfortunately there are desperate people out there who don't have any conscience.

This number is being used by an internet scammer, it originates from a Yahoo messenger account.  The return ID is <crobles20011@yahoo.com>  
I received txt messages with a verification code for Google, looks like they were trying to open an account and waiting on information through my phone, but according to the messages I got the information was either sent throiugh my phone or there is a clone out there.

just talked to verizon - their blocking system doesn't work on instant messaging numbers just phone # - irritating - don't know what the answer is

Same thing just happened to me.. a scammer.. tells you all sort of [***]!  Gets you hooked.. found him on match.com.... said all the right things...within 4 days...he wanted me to pick him up a the airport when he gets back from Africa... then today, he lost his wallet.. not wants money!  RED FLAGS everywhere!!!!

i started getting texts from someone named johnson-miker who claims to be a sgt in the army who just got stationed to nigeria. i checked it all out and it a lie. he keeps texting me demanding money for rent in a hotel, when i know for a fact all military personnel gets it free. so now he is im me harrassing me because i told him i wasnt sending money . it has even went to threats to my kids. i am reporting it to the police. please be cautious girls he could try you next.he goes from yelling, theats name calling to "oh i love you my queen, we will be together forever". BE CAREFUL who you talk to.

thats similar to what i am going through now. i met him on meetme(yearbook).after 1 day we were gonna get married as soon as he got home now hes in nigeria and wants money i asked army personnel personally if it was true and they said back off hes  scamming me.

It's just spam. And sometimes they don't stop. Even if u message back to stop they continue

Hi Sarah, This is most likely the same thing that I am getting. This is someone blocking their number to run a scam, do not do anything they tell you to do. I lost $2,900 and now I need a subpoena from a Lawyer or Law enforcement agency just to try and uncover who is behind this. They maybe able to figure it out but not sure. I started receiving this text messages from that same number after I tried to sell an item on Craigslist.com so be careful.

I received a text from this number as well as 924-660-00 for someone who is marketing a fake Admin. Assistant position on Craigslist.  They are quickly looking for bank account numbers for payroll after a 15 minute interview for a job paying $23 an hour.  The name of the company they are supposedly hiring for is Fullgen, Inc.  They are also using the following email address: sierrapart@yahoo.com, anna.hrdesk@yahoo.com and entrydesk@ymail.com.

I have been getting texts from this number as well.  They are scammers who will try to scam money.  Talked to man from dating site since January and found out he is scammer.  Goes by name of James Craven or Jamven1.  Have also gotten e-mail saying from FB from Gabriela saying we chatted before and is moving to my area and wants to hook up.  No idea who these people are but James Craven is listed on scammer website with same pic I have that he sent me.  From Nigeria.  Be careful and don't send money.

I met someone on dating website who also said he was biochemical engineer and had to go to Africa to work at refinery.  Said he lived in TX.  Went by name of James Craven or Jamven1.  He said he was willing to relocate to be with me and how much he loved me.  I was his queen, sweetie, etc.  Next thing ya know, he needs me to wire him money because he needed money for feeding?  He was hungry? Not!

He told me same BS.  I was his Queen.  We will be happy forever, loves me, etc.  He said he had to go to Nigeria for business to work on refinery being biochemical engineer.  BS.  He needed money for hotel and food.  CC didn't work and he wouldn't get paid until job is finished.  BS.  Don't send money.  Lucky for me I saw through BS.  Beware!

Same thing. He just text me again. Match.com. Said he lived in Austn, Tx but is currently working as a civil engineer supervising a bridge in Nigeria Said he got his degree in Jacksonville. Started gushing on how much he loves me and how good he will be to me,etc..... Said he would not get paid until the job is over but wanted to come back and retire and live the rest of his life with his true love, me. All of this after one text session.Said he had a 12 year old daughter. Grammar poor, does not write like someone who speaks English as a first language. The profile was intelligently written, but disappeared after he started writing me. I believe he is using someone Else's old profile. Goes by the name Scott Calvin     Treasure_seeks94

I received a message from this number. He or she called himself/herself richard_sampson 1: the hiring manager to the company Goldman Sachs. He or she writes all through Text messages first: The Human Resources have just reviewed your resume due to the one you posted on nationaljobbank.com. Then he/she asks you to provide him with your yahoo address to chat-Interview and then mentions the positions available and the duties and then that the company will provide you with a software and equipment you will need as your job is from home, but because they want to start next day, you will have to pay the first software...$250...etc...They ask you full name and age and then to send you the check to ay for the Software they ask you what Bank do you have....etc...
