This number texted me from a yahoo account.  I emailed my resume in response to an employment ad on Craigslist.  I didn't respond to the texts, but it's unnerving to know they have my phone number....Not sure what to do.

If they text again, ask if you can contact Judy McAdams. IT is all a scam through the dating sites. Dont worry. They only use Yahoo Messenger.

This seems to be a method of texting incognito. I just won a free iPad from the same number! Block it if you can, and for gosh sake don't answer!!

I received a call from this number indicating that I had won a free Ipad.  After going to the link, I was told it was for a free Iphone 5.  I was asked for all kinds of information.  I x'd out of the screen.

I got two messages from this number.  I gave out personal info for porn and now  i get spam messages.

Just got a text to this number

"myonghovden0hf60: You have been randomly selected to test the all new iPhone 5! Go to http://dskmnfg.tk and enter code CQ5T7 to accept."

This is simply the first of many spam texts I'm sure to receive. My daughter has been getting them like crazy, & we are both very careful who we give our numbers to. If anyone knows how to stop these (other than blocking individual numbers, which doesn't work until AFTER you've received the spam, not before) please say so.

OMG I just recieved a check from them for and admin office file clerk position. so I can deposited into my account so that I can buy thir supplies to do their work. I kind of figured it was a scam, whu would they send me a check for 2700 if it wasnt fake. Im glad I looked into it more.

Got 2 text msgs right after each other from 924-665-01 and 924-666-01.  The first opened automatically and was to someone not me as they had a name in the message and to follow the link to get a free iphone 5.  The second definitely had yahoo in the message but thankfully I didn't open that one to see much other than yahoo.  I will be taking my phone to verizon to make sure these messages didn't contain a virus.  And I will also ask how that can be blocked.

Take your phone number off of your Yahoo account. Goto my.yahoo.com and to your account, at the drop arrow at the top left. Click the gear icon and in your account settings delete your phone number. I had the same problem today and somehow it's coming thru Yahoo, even though all my info is private.

this number is a scam, I got a txt message from them except the number came up without the zeros for me (924-665-01) probably automated - so the people that say its ruining their marrage should go to their phone provider and just try and block it, I got a text message from this number saying I just won an Iphone 5 but I know I never signed up for one, I don't even want one of those phones.

I am currently dealing with someone from fullgen. All correspondence has been online via yahoo messenger.  An administrative home position. They have mailed me a check for almost $3,000 and want me to deposit it into my bank account. I am very skeptical about it all as I have never actually spoken to anyone over the phone etc.

Well there's a sucker born every minute and this is something they are completely aware of. Every day somebody is getting turned onto the Internet for the fist time and they are naive to this practice. Most of the time there isn't anything the authorities can do about it because of their far away locations and disguised indenties. Just remember if it talks and spells like a duck it's definitely a duck kwak kwak...
