A very pushy sales guy called me quoting my colleagues names saying that they were very interested in sponsoring a Masterclass. Was on the phone for ages, wouldn't take no for an answer, said he was insulted when I offered him a much lower amount than the £15K he was requesting. He was rude and arrogant and it was impossible to get him off the phone

RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! a women called Denise Morris from PSCA just called me, where do people get off?

Why would anyone want to do buiness with attitude like that?

Surely there is an opportunity for watchdog to plant a camera wearing mole into this cess pit? How can these people continue to get away with pretending to be associated with Government - Private eye exposed these charlatans about 5 years ago and yet they STILL GET AWAY WITH IT! HOW??

asked to call a guy called Sam Haston back.  When I did was told that there was no Sam Haston.  When I confirmed this was definitely the name I had been asked to ring back she suddenly remembered who he was! Was put through but they put the phone down on me.  Was only ringing them to tell them to get lost as I had had dealings with this "so called" government body earlier in the year.

Have had numerous calls from this number - about 20 messages left in a week and the last one saying it would be polite to call  them back. Finally decided to ring them back and say that I had no idea who they were, had no interest in their call and not to call back. So far today have had 3 calls already!!

Been called several times by them over the last week, constantly harrassing my secretary to put them through.

Took a tip from here and finally took a air horn to work. Answered a call today from a "Sam", let him talk for about 30 seconds and then blasted it down the phone.

Childish but made me feel good :) Will now do this every time they call until they finally get the message.

Very rude lady, we talking nonsense, company seems to offer no genuine services at all!

I wish I never spoke to the guys at PSCA , I got conned into one of their events after a pushy call from sales, now I realise that it is not something will be any good for us -  they are asking me to pay for the advert - I'm thinking of refusing, has anyone got tips? The problem is that I have signed their 'contract'...

I've asked them 3 times to stop calling - guess who called again this morning demanding to speak to a director

This company keeps calling asking for our MD purporting to be asking people to speak at conference about local government shared services. They are basically a publishing house and looking at their accounts are not exactly profitable! They publish journals I have never seen or heard of in all my years working with local government  and now seem to be moving into organising conferences. Avoid like the plague is my advice!

I have finally managed to find out that the Birmingham Office is run by Lisa "Shergar" Evans...... this "lady" handled a complaint of mine a few months back and after several "conversations" tried to get me to spend £1500 on the package which Id been offered at £10,000!!!!..............BUYER BEWARE....

Some guy called Mick Cunningham keeps calling from this number, always claims he is a personal friend on mine.
Have never heard of PCSA and have no intention of ever wokring with them

Complete pain.  Chasing you asking you to call them back - unpronounceable name (Perm???? and they use the trick that so and so recommended that they call you).  When you ask what it is in connection with the receptionist is brand new and does not know what the organisation does and so on and so forth.  Similar to a ghastly organisation that used to call and say they had a government contract.  Selling space - avoid at all costs. It takes 20 minutes to tell you what they want.

Just had them on the phone for 45mins. Selling a place at a conference for 3k. Glad I read this while they were on and didn't waste any more of my time.

Just Deborah Cottrall call selling exhibition space at a 'unique' event - said we had been recommended as a business and wanted us to sponsor the event for 23k! Colleagues have had harassing calls from them in the past, wish I never spoke to her now!

Just taken a call from a Mr Mike Cunnigham at PSCA International - 0121 456 3336, this guy should come with a  warning, he speaks in a very posh accent but his actual use of the english language is appalling, it makes me wonder if these cold callers are told to talk with an accent to make themselves sound more credable, he was extrememly rude, I eventually put the phone down on him. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, infact DO NOT even engage into conversation with them.

I have just seen that the testimonial page that has obviously been posted by PSCA onto the forum, absolutely laughable, they think that this makes their "bully boy" sales techniques ok ... HEELLOOO PSCA we are not complaining about the validity or quality of your events we are compalining about the methods that your rude sales persons use, particularly a Mr Cunnigham... I may have been interested in sponsorship of an event if I had not spoken to his muppet, who obviously thinks he is very important.. he is a publishing sales man and nothing more, he needs to remember this. Mr Cunnigham and the likes of him are a risk to the PSCA business, they need to be sacked and buried in the cess pits of hell !

I just had a voicemail from Mike Cunningham asking to speak to our Commerical Director about a 'rail opportunity' - last time I spoke to Mr Cunningham it was to complain about the way he spoke to our receptionist because he couldn't be put straight through to our CEO (any reputable sales company would surely know CEO's tend to have PA's?) anyway I started to have a go at him and he hung up on me now has the cheek to ring back to speak to another of my directors - good luck with that.
